At first glance, Kim Kardashian‘s cover for Interview Magazine‘s newest issue looks like a sweet snap of she and daughter North West.
However, it quickly becomes apparent that the themed shoot casts the provocateur in the role of Jackie Kennedy – one of the America’s most-loved wives.
And if there was any doubt, the strapline for the feature boldly brands Kim “America’s New First Lady.”
The superstar singer covers the latest issue of V Magazine.
Lensed by Heidi Slimane, the striking placement is the latest in a long line of promotional spots for the singer’s current album ‘Joanne.’
Its unveiling comes on the heels of the announcement that the 31-year-old is premiering a Netflix documentary titled ‘Five Foot Two’ on September 22nd.
The intimate feature clocks in at 100 minutes and will chronicle the recording of her LP and Super Bowl Halftime Show. It’ll also see her wax honest about her drama with Madonna.
Taylor Swift premiered the video for new single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and it was quite literally a mini-movie.
Directed by Joseph Kahn, the cinematic clip is a big budget affair that sees the 27-year-old bury the “old her” and poke fun at the various critiques levelled her way.
With new album ‘Reputation’ due this Fall, Ms. Swift is definitely cementing her rep as being a visual force!

The singer’s long-awaited sophomore album ‘Joyride’ is still without a release date, while her name has grabbed headlines for questionable quotes rather than new music.
However, it appears fresh material is indeed on the way. And it’s being helmed by a producer responsible for one the year’s hottest anthems.
As the biggest stars of the year gear up for tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards, we journey back to one of the show’s most iconic performances of the last decade. Lady Gaga‘s 2009 showing of ‘Paparazzi.’
Already on an unprecedented ascend at the time, the natural expectation was for the singer to have picked one of breakout hits – ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Poker Face’ – for her 5 minute set. However, Gaga opted for the very fresh ‘Paparazzi.’
Produced by Rob Fusari – one of the masterminds behind Destiny’s Child’s ‘Bootylicious,’ it was another Top 10 for the artist – in the US, UK, as well Australia, Canada and France. Its Jonas Akerlund helmed visual was the first of many mini-movies from Gaga’s videography and depicted her as a fame hungry starlet.
For her VMA performance, Mother Monster went all the way in and gave the public what can only be described as a Pop-Opera.
With slick choreography courtesy of LaurieAnn Gibson and team, Gaga made sure to leave a lasting impact on viewers and peers alike thanks to fantastic theatrics that still have people talking to this day. Clearly, we all remember a bloodied-up Gaga hanging on top of the VMA stage, right?
