As reported, Beyonce enjoyed Easter with her family.

And now Queen Bey is inviting the masses into their celebration.

Fresh from hitting 100 million followers on Instagram, the superstar singer took to the platform to share a flipbook of pics from their fun-filled gathering.

Daughter Blue Ivy is seen playing with Kelly Rowland‘s son Titan Jewell, while Bey does the same with her bestie Kelly and mom Tina Knowles-Lawson.

Lil Mama‘s position as a multi-hyphenate star continues to see her soar above critics who made the mistake of writing her off.

This year, following her performance in the TLC biopic, she is to front the gripping Falicia Blakely Story.

The movie drops in September 2017 and sees TV One and Mama team up to tell the story of a teenage girl named Falicia trying to find safety in a dangerous world but finds herself caught in the web of dangerous predator.

Lies, betrayal, abuse and murder follow.

Joining her in the movie is Floyd Mayweather Jnr, Tami Roman, Lil Zane and ‘Formation‘ performer Big Freedia.

‘Shadow and Act’ adds:

The screenplay is executive produced and written by industry veteran Cas Sigers-Beedles, who previously wrote and executive produced the TV One movies Welcome to the Family and “Girlfriends Getaway” 1 &2.

Welcome to Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature created to unearth hidden gems and moments from entertainment’s often scandalous past.

In a time far removed from today’s (2006), Beyonce found herself tasked with ensuring that her sophomore album ‘B’Day‘ steered clear of the sophomore slump and secure the full support of an Urban community who shunned her for the part it believed she played in the treatment of her former Destiny’s Child group members.

Coupled with the meteoric rise of Urban media darling Ciara, the pressure was on to win over and hold the support of a typically tough crowd.

With all this mind, it isn’t difficult to understand why the amiable vocalist would often agree to offer interviews with outlets fronted by personalities who’d bash her daily.

What happens when she and mother came face to face with one of these personalities?

The incident took place before fans of all parties learned of claims that Jones came close to being murdered by Kevin HunterWendy Williams’ husband.

‘Scandal’ is back!

Following a longer than planned hiatus (to accommodate Kerry Washington‘s pregnancy), the show picks up right where it left off – with fireworks!

Forming a central part of the revived TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) block of programming, the political drama promises (and is already delivering) many an explosive twist and turn for its sixth season. Election, anyone?!

Destiny’s Child may no longer be an active act, but their sisterhood is ever enduring.

Beyonce and Michelle Williams recently linked up with Kelly Rowland in Los Angeles to support the latter’s ‘Whoa, Baby’ book signing.

It marks a rare sighting of the group, whose debut single was released 20 years ago next year.

It’s also the latest spotting of Bey, who is heavily pregnant with twins.

Clearly proving that her predicament isn’t denting her style, she went on to share the fine, fresh, fierce shots below…

We can’t be the only ones hoping (and praying) the ladies cook up something to mark their 20th anniversary?!

It was the dragging heard ’round the world.

Earlier today, R&B firecracker K. Michelle popped ALL THE WAY OFF on comedienne/‘The Real’ hostess Loni Love and ‘The Breakfast Club’ DJ Angela Yee for raising the topic of Yee’s year-old heated interview with the ‘Can’t Raise a Man’ singer.  A heated interview, mind you, that saw Michelle also tear into Yee at that time as well.

The R&B songstress made it well known on Twitter today that she was not in favor of being discussed in her absence and launched a scathing verbal attack against the two parties involved.

See ALL of the exchange inside if you missed any of the action, including the clip that set K. off:

After blessing fans with ‘Ten Wife Commandments’ and ‘When We Party‘ from ‘The King & I’ – her joint project with late rap legend Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans invites fans to another taste of what the highly anticipated project is set to serve via its latest offering, ‘Legacy.’

Unveiling its Rock Davis and Jay Rodriguez-directed visual today, the reflective clip shows off some classic footage of Biggie alongside appearances from rappers Lil’ Cease and more.

It’s here!

Tinashe has unleashed the video for ‘Flame’ – the latest video to be lifted from her long awaited sophomore album ‘Joyride.’

The clip sees the 24-year-old flex her acting muscles as she plays out the narrative of a love story gone wrong.

Can the visual help ignite the track’s on the charts? Watch below and let us know…

A solid video for a solid song.

It remains to be seen, though, whether it’ll be enough to catapult Ms. Kachingwe to where she “should” be.

Kelly Rowland is pounding the promotional pavement in support of new book ‘Whoa, Baby,’ but music remains her top priori.

It’s been four years since the Destiny’s Child diva released her last album ‘Talk A Good Game,’ which spurned the Gold-certified ‘Kisses Down Low.’

In the time since, she’s gotten married, become a mother, amped up her TV endeavours, and commenced work on her next LP.

During a visit to Access Hollywood this week, Rowland provided an update on the latter, confirming that the as yet untitled set will indeed hit stores this year….

Her excitement is exciting.

Fingers crossed the new material arrives sooner rather than later.

British newcomer Dua Lipa has been building a steady buzz over the last year in the run-up to the release of her self-titled debut album.

Due in stores on June 2nd via Warner Bros, the set showcases her brand of dangerously addictive Pop, which boasts a credible edge.

Assisting on the project are acts such as Chris Martin (Coldplay) and Miguel, who features on the song ‘Lost In Your Sight.’

A funky slice of retro Soul-Pop, the track sees the singers trade verses about being in the bliss of love.

Refreshing from a production and vocal standpoint, this makes for a delicious addition to both of their discographies.

 Your thoughts?

2017 has brought with it projects from some of today’s top titans – such Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Kendrick Lamar.

Yet, this year is noteworthy on another front.

Namely, the lengthy list of releases celebrating their 15th (yes 15th) anniversary.

As the age adage goes: time flies. And, in reminiscing on the following, we’re sure you’ll agree,

Journey back with TGJ below….

Ashanti – Foolish

In a world where Beyonce was yet to make her stamp as a solo artist, Ashanti’s debut established her as the definitive one to watch in the early 2000s. Cut from her self-titled album ‘Ashanti,’ ‘Foolish’ remains an R&B classic that still knocks til this day.

 ********************

Nelly – Hot In Herre

Arguably one of Nelly’s most notable hits, ‘Hot In Herre’  is plucked from the rapper’s Grammy nominated album ‘Nellyville.’

Released at the height of his popularity, the track remains the gas to set any party off!

 ********************

Missy Elliott – Work It

No introduction needed for this rap veteran. Missy Elliott’s ‘Work It’ remains a musical staple. With enduring cuts like these, the four-time Grammy award winner opened, or should we say bulldozed, doors for the Nicki’s and Iggy’s of the world.

 ********************

Jay-Z & Beyoncé  – ’03 Bonnie & Clyde

Before becoming music’s first family, The Carters were ‘on the run’ in their first joint effort ’03 Bonnie & Clyde.’ Fifteen years later, the couple have a wealth of success – both together and apart – as well as a growing brood – including  their daughter Blue Ivy and a set of twins the world is waiting to obsess over.

 ********************

Jennifer Lopez & LL Cool J – All I Have

‘All I Have’ may have hit airwaves back in 2002, but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t belt it word for word when it shuffles through our library. The Debra Laws assisted cut is still one of our favorites from both J.Lo and LL.
