Coi Leray may have seen her first two studio albums, 2022’s ‘Trendsetter‘ and 2023’s ‘Coi,’ miss the Billboard 200’s topmost quadrant with their respective #89 and #102 peaks, but that commercial nonperformance has acted as little deterrent for the 26-year-old.
Easily one of the most active femcees of the year, Leray has heat up social media and streaming waves with her inaugural Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit ‘Players,’ as well as serving guest appearances on work from Dave East, David Guetta, Metro Boomin, and more.
The buzz around those projects and others had Coi feeling herself on social media late last week – a feeling evidenced by a statement posted to Twitter that started quite the fiery debate in the comment section.

If word on the curb is to be believed, Ariana Grande has one less problem according to reports that she has split from husband Dalton Gomez after 2 years of marriage.
Just a day after Rihanna rocked Glendale’s State Farm Stadium (February 12) with a slew of her greatest hits as headliner of the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show, ‘Rolling Stone’ ranked her epic performance as the third-greatest of all time (among female performers).
Months later, that critical acclaim continues to roll in for the Pop diva – a testament underscored by the batch of Primetime EMMY nominations it’s attached to per the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ (ATAS) announcement Wednesday (July 12).
Rita Ora returns with her third studio album ‘You & I.’
Led by singles ‘You Only Love Me,’ ‘Praising You (ft. Fatboy Slim),’ and most recent effort ‘Don’t Think Twice,’ the project has been touted as a conceptual ode to the singer’s real-life love story with husband Taika Watiti.
Speaking on the record (which was executive produced by hitmaker Oak Felder), 32-year-old Ora explains how it’s her most personal effort yet:
“The ‘You’ in You & I represents more than just the man I love. It’s my mum, my friends, my fans, and in some ways, it represents the relationship I have with myself. This album has been like my diary for the past two years, and I’m so thrilled you finally get to hear it.”
‘You & I’ follows 2018’s ‘Phoenix’ album and Ora’s 2021 EP ‘Bang.’

The June release of new songs ‘I Need a Thug’ and ‘Pinata’ undoubtedly had City Girls‘ fans (affectionately called #Citizens) thinking they were that much closer to the duo’s elusive third studio album – the follow-up to 2020’s ‘City on Lock.’
An unexpected pivot came Monday (July 10), however, when JT announced she would be lifting the lid on a solo venture: ‘No Bars.’
And while the rapstress (born Jatavia Johnson) has had her fair share of features without her groupmate Yung Miami (see: the “Queen Mix” to Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Freaky Girl,‘ Summer Walker’s ‘Ex For A Reason,’ etc.), ‘Bars’ comes as her first totally solo outing since she ended her stint behind bars in 2019.
“Cold a** cocky b*tch, fur in the summertime (Brr) / He gon’ keep the bills paid ’cause he know a b*tch fine / B*tches always in my business, JT, what you really do? (What?) / I be at home playin’ fetch by a swimmin’ pool (Bing) / I’m a real big dog, b*tch, you a scrappy-doo,” she raps on the BrizzyOnDaBeat-produced track.
