With a catalog as colossal as Mariah Carey‘s, major milestones are constant.

Case in point the 30th anniversary of the diva’s third studio album ‘Music Box.’

With Mimi commemorating the enduring LP with a new re-release, this week That Grape Juice‘s salutes one of its central anthems – ‘Any Time You Need A Friend.’

Produced by Walter Afanasieff, the power ballad was serviced as the fifth and final single from the LP. And oh does it deliver on the notion of going out with a bang.

Lyrically, the track – much as its title suggests – finds Carey belting about her support for a loved one in their time of need.

Beyond its uplifting subject matter, Carey’s vocal prowess elevates the song to heavenly heights. A majestic display of melismatic magnificence, the vocal performance is widely hailed as one of the most revered of the legend’s career.

Peaking at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, ‘Anytime’ dominated the airwaves in earnest. Its music video, directed by Diane Martel, added another layer to its impact.

An eternal toast to one of the best to ever do it!

Drew Sidora has been a scorching hot topic of late thanks to her integral spot on the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 15.

The hit show’s latest installment has seen the multihyphenate star’s rollercoaster marriage to Ralph Pittman implode and her relationship with her fellow castmates more tested than ever.

For, the entertainer has poured her all into her emotional new single ‘Throw Us Away.’

Produced by Donald ‘haZEL” Sales’ and written Sidora with Nye the Songwrita, Ross Ramzey, Alesia Miller, the telling track chronicles the breakdown of a relationship. Suffice it to say, ‘Throw Us Away’ is very much art imitating life.
