You have to admit:  it’s impossible to knock the hustle of Jennifer Lopez.

The triple threat diva, whose return to television will see her playing double duty on FOX’s farewell season of ‘American Idol’ (January 6th) and NBC crime drama ‘Shades of Blue’ (January 14th), is also readying a highly anticipated debut on the Vegas strip.

Christened ‘All I Have,’ an ode to her 2002 LL Cool J-assisted hit, J.Lo was all smiles when she visited ‘Ellen’ today to give fans the scoop on her ‘Sin City’ residency (which kicks off January 20th). And, as if the three previously mentioned ventures weren’t enough, she even hinted she’s hard at work on a new studio album!

Fans in need of a serious Brandy fix got a double dose tonight as the singer/actress not only premiered her long-awaited return to sitcoms via BET’s ‘Zoe Ever After,’ but also gifted music lovers with a new tune.

R&B crooner Trey Songz is kicking off the new year with a spirit of gratitude.

Reflecting on his eventful 2015, the ‘Slow Motion’ singer presses rewind to give fans a rundown of last year’s offerings with a video for ‘Blessed,’ a tune found on his ‘To Whom It May Concern’ mixtape.

Undoubtedly lifted to tide fans over until the release of ‘Tremaine,’ the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Trigga,’ the song’s black-and-white shot video comes as the latest directorial effort of Mel D. Cole.

Well, that was fast.

As reported here, Grammy winning diva Beyonce was rumored to be hard at work bringing the controversial story of Sarah Baartman, an enslaved South African woman put on display at freakshows in the 1800s, to life in a film.  The rumored project, which would be Bey’s screenwriting debut, would also see her star as the historical figure.

The report was greeted with great backlash from South African dignitaries with one even claiming the songstress was ‘not worthy’ and ‘lacked the basic human dignity’ to play the part!  Ouch!

Week 6 of Adele‘s domination of the Billboard 200 may have logged its lowest figures yet, but they were still enough to land her another week at the summit of the tally.

Dropping over 70% from last week’s mega holiday sales, ’25’ (363,000) still managed to shift over 140,000 more units than its nearest competitor – Justin Bieber‘s comeback opus ‘Purpose’ (217,000)  The twosome, who jointly dominated both the album and singles charts for most of 2015’s latter half, won’t see their dominion slow too soon if the performance of other “hot” albums is any indication.

Chris Brown‘s ‘Royalty,’ which still reigns proudly over the R&B album charts for a second week, also saw over 70% drop in sales (55,000 this week, 184,000 last week).  Dropping to #8 on this week’s Billboard 200, the album is one of 4 Urban releases found in the top 10.
