Kendrick Lamar Leads AMAs 2025 Nominations

It’s that time of year again!

May 26 brings with it the 2025 American Music Awards, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, live on ABC.

As ever, all eyes are on the nominees for the latest installment of the annual extravaganza, which will air live from Las Vegas.

And folk need not wonder anymore, because the full list has just been unveiled.

The unstoppable Kendrick Lamar leads with 10 noms, while Post Malone follows with 8. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey are close behind with 7 apiece.

Elsewhere, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA, and Taylor Swift all scored 6 nods.

With the clock ticking toward the premiere of his new film ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow,’ 4x GRAMMY winner The Weeknd is tag-teaming with his movie’s co-star Jenna Ortega to bring to life ‘Drive‘ – the latest single from his ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow‘ album.

“I just wanna drive, I just wanna drive tomorrow / And I feel the sky falling down on the road / Be precious with my heart, drive me slow / Just be kind, I’m a child again / And no child deserves suffering,” he sings in the Trey Edward Shultz-directed visual.

Ahead of the theatrical arrival of the ‘Tomorrow’ film (also directed by Shultz) on May 16, roll inside to get familiar with ‘Drive’ courtesy of its official music video.

As host of the popular ‘R&B Money’ podcast, Tank is no stranger to igniting musical debates after quizzing guests on their “top 5 R&B artists.”

Putting himself in the hot seat for a change, the singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Tuesday (April 22) to unveil his updated list of favorites in the genre.

And while some names didn’t come as a surprise, Tank left a few jaws dropped when he stood on the side of superstar Usher when considering the greatest male voice of that generation.

Ari Lennox Premieres 'Soft Girl Era' Music Video

Ari Lennox is inviting the masses to witness her ‘Soft Girl Era.’

The R&B belle has been drumming up buzz with the catchy cut, which has become the most added song on Urban radio.

Now, she amplifies the cut the more with the premiere of its vibrant visual.

The clip lands on the heels of the songbird’s set at the 2025 Dreamville Festival earlier this month, which drew a capacity crowd of more than 100,000 attendees.

Produced by veterans Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, the track serves as a taste of Lennox’s forthcoming studio album.
