With the video for ‘Get Ugly,’ the fourth single from Jason Derulo‘s fourth album ‘Everything is 4,’ the Miami-born maestro brought his high octane moves back to the forefront.  A winning move for the young singer, let us tell it, as it will hopefully bring his name back to the forefront of the Billboard Hot 100’s upper rankings.

For, despite being kicked off by the mega-successful ‘Want To Want Me,’ his quaternary release has failed to launch another single that has even touched the top 50 on the tally.  In a bid to turn this not-so-pretty sales situation around, Derulo is inviting fans to a behind the scenes peek at the James Larese-directed affair.

Funnyman Steve Harvey wasn’t exactly smiling after his epic blunder on this Sunday night’s showing saw him announce the wrong winner of the coveted ‘Miss Universe’ crown.

Since then, the comedian/actor/talk show host has been fielding racially charged attacks on social media and endless ridicule courtesy of memes and Vine videos.

Undeterred, it looks like Harvey will have the last laugh as reports indicate viewers will be seeing his name as host once again next year:

As reported here, Adele‘s massive comeback album, ’25,’ was expected to move 750,000 units by end of tallying last week.  If such feat was accomplished, the powerhouse diva would have crossed the 6 million sold threshold.

Now, on this side of tallying, we should’ve known better than to put any “ifs” in the equation.

Moving a whopping 825,000 units in its 4th week of availability (790,000 of which were pure sales), the project not only skipped right over that “6 million sold” mark, but now lays claim to a new sales record: ” first album to sell over 695,000 copies in four different weeks.”  With the added sales boost, ’25’ also claims the title of “second best-selling album” of the decade, an honor that sees her eclipsed only by the sales of the top titleholder – herself with ’21’ (which re-entered the Billboard 200’s top 10 this week).  Even its predecessor, ’19,’ has re-entered the top 40 this week.

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, thanks to a few holiday-themed albums and reignited sales of some of the year’s favorite cuts, August Alsina and R. Kelly missed out on the top 10 completely (as we reported here).  Get into the top 20 below:

Ten…long…years.

Indeed, it’s been a decade since talented songbird Tweet blessed the industry with a new project. And while such a lengthy spell away from the limelight (in an official capacity) would dissolve the strongest of fanbases, it’s made hers even more steadfast.  This feat is evidenced by the critical reception of her comeback single ‘Won’t Hurt Me’ (the kickoff release from her January 2016-due album ‘Charlene’).

In this candid interview with That Grape Juice, the soulful stunner talks her hiatus, the state of R&B, compromising her sound, her new album, and much more. As ever, we ask the questions you really want answers to.

Much like this week with Chris Brown and Monica, two of Urban music’s most-beloved characters – August Alsina and R. Kelly – faced off in the name of R&B.

Alsina, who dropped his highly anticipated sophomore album ‘This Thing Called Life,’ saw his album greeted to a bevy of critical acclaim (much like its predecessor ‘Testimony’).  While the latter-mentioned debuted at #2 to the tune of an impressive 67,000 sold, early reports indicated the former would not be able to claim similar heights as predictions placed it somewhere between 30-35,000 sold its first week. Not too far away, Kelly, with his 13th opus, ‘Buffet,’ was served predictions in the 28-33,000 range.  This, after an impassioned plea by the R&B royal for fans to support the genre.

The good news is they must have listened as both Alsina and Kelly exceeded their sales prediction by a notable margin.  On the other hand, the bad news appears they may have been so busy listening to Adele‘s ’25,’ they forgot to tell their friends as both R&B acts missed the top 10 of the Billboard 200 all together (a career first for Kelly).

Find out what their final numbers are for their respective first weeks of availability:

Tank-Already-in-Love-thatgrapejuice

While his TGT bandmates duke it out on Instagram over last year’s beef, Tank is forging ahead with a new solo project due for release at the top of the year.

Titled ‘Sex, Love, & Pain II,’ the album – a sequel to his top-selling 2010 release ‘Sex, Love, & Pain’ (featuring the hit ‘Please Don’t Go’) – is set for a January 22nd premiere and has been preceded by the lukewarm received ‘Better For You.’  To amp up interest in the forthcoming project, the R&B vet taps a like suit in Shawn Stockman (of Boyz II Men) to accompany him on the bass-driven number ‘Already In Love.’

A move we cannot say we are mad at one bit as both crooners are world renown for their pipes, tuck in below to hear the tune and weigh in:

Always keen to lure young fans into his creative web the R&B force that is R. Kelly made his way to the ‘Huffington Post’ to discuss his latest album and the current state of his Grammy-kissed career.

Alas, his latest attempt to reach out and touch younger fans was thwarted by the publication when questions posed to him during their conversation led to him walking off set before it ended.

What those questions were related to? The numerous minors who have claimed that he molested them during his reign as the King of R&B.
