There, along with the likes of Naomi Campbell, the Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua, Brandy and Tyra Banks the model parents share their joy with the world before they can be expected to do the same when New Year’s Eve swings by next week.

Though she gifted fans with a full length holiday EP, ‘Christmas & Chill,’ singer Ariana Grande is hoping they don’t lose focus on her official endeavor ‘Focus.’

The horn-heavy hit may have slipped 9 spaces to #33 on Billboard this week, but – as recent performances suggest – the burgeoning diva hasn’t quite closed the book on the bop quite yet.  Taking to the 32nd annual ‘Disney Parks Christmas Day Celebration,’ which aired yesterday on ABC, Ari belted out a spirited rendition of her third LP’s lead single and even treated fans to a cover of one of her favorite Disney classics.

Fleur East flew into the minds of the masses this year with her deliciously infectious single ‘Sax.’

Omnipresent on the British charts since its premiere in October, the track has launched what promises to be an electric career for the X Factor graduate.

Celebrating the track’s success, the Londoner opened the Top of the Pops Christmas Special with a dazzling rendition of the song (which is housed on debut album ‘Love, Sax, And Flashbacks’).

Rihanna‘s navy were left with proverbial lump of coal yesterday when the alleged Christmas roll-out of new album ‘ANTI’ did not materialize.

Instead, the musically confused model “unlocked” the seventh door of her cluttered Samsung campaign.

With the LP being codenamed ‘R8’ for the longest, many are speculating that the eighth door will serve as its final reveal.

Averaging a week or so between “openings,” there’s likely not long to go.

For now, the latest awaits after the jump…

chris brown tgj run it

Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, just as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week, we’ll run back a decade and get our krump on to Grammy winning R&B bad boy Chris Brown‘s inaugural hit ‘Run It.’  Bursting onto the scene in late 2005, the club banger – produced by Scott Storch & Sean Garrett – introduced the music scene to a promising stageblazer from Virginia. Quickly drawing comparisons to the likes of a young Michael Jackson, Brown’s smooth footwork and hot bop glided him straight to the top of the Hot 100 for a five week stay (his longest to date).

This week in 2005 would see the last of its tenure before a brief dethronement by Billboard queen Mariah Carey.  Tuck in below to see what other familiar names you see in the top 20 this week 10 years ago:

However, this Christmas, the hitmaker re-affixes the focus on himself with new mixtape ‘King Stays King.’

Available at the affordable price of “free.99,” the set sees the producer enlist the contributions of artists such as the late great Aaliyah (on the track ‘Shakin’) as well as Tink.
