He’s yet to set a release date for the LP.

Lil Wayne is aptly declaring his independence on Independence Day.

The rapper, who has been in a legal wrangle with Cash Money label head Birdman in recent months, has taken to Jay Z‘s TIDAL to release what he’s christened his most prolific effort yet – the ‘Free Weezy Album.’

Interestingly rolled out as a stream (rather than a purchasable LP), the project looks to be the fruit of the “deal” Weezy announced he made with Jigga last month.

And while there’s no one yet on the long-awaited arrival of ‘The Carter V,’ Wayne’s newest collection of songs is already generating bountiful buzz.

Rita Ora is playing no games with the push for her new music.

It had been widely speculated (and heavily hinted) that the 360 entity had teamed up with Chris Brown for her next single and now said rumors have been confirmed.

Currently in Los Angeles, the 24-year-old shot the video for the hotly anticipated track this week with Brown and director Colin Tilley.

During our recent interview with the Roc Nation priori, she revealed that the follow-up to UK single ‘Poison’ would dub as the first song to be receive the single treatment Stateside.

As previously relayed, Ora’s new LP will serve as her sophomore effort on home soil, but her American debut.

After a brief rest on the bench, Cover Star returns this week with British outfit Brick City, who tackle Janet Jackson‘s seductive comeback cut ‘No Sleeep’

How did they fare? Hit ‘PLAY’ below to find out [cover commences at 0.48 mark]

While it was telling at points that the group had – per their own admission – just learnt the track, they still turned in a commendable rendition.

Their harmony driven delivery served up a fresh take on the simply sung song and actually has us salivating at the prospect of Janet garnishing with similar sounding adlibs when performing it live.
