Who knew Kelly Clarkson was sitting on the holiday breakup anthem we didn’t know we needed?

Titled ‘Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You),’ the tune was first teased last Wednesday (September 15) when Clarkson took to social media to announce it would arrive the next Thursday (September 23).  Between time, the GRAMMY and EMMY-winning diva unwrapped even more yuletide news when she officially announced the tracklist for her second holiday album – ‘When Christmas Comes Around.’

Among the tracks is ‘Canceled,’ which acts as the first single.

“You ruined all my favorite things (All my favorite things) / But you won’t take Christmas from me,” she wails on the Joseph Trapanese & Jason Halbert-produced tune.

Directed by Stillz, the new clip – which comes as the latest in a string of controversial visuals from LNX including ‘Call Me By Your Name,’ ‘Sun Goes Down,’ and ‘Industry Baby’ – addresses life for men who live double lives and are torn between being who society would have them be versus who they want to be.

A conversation starter for sure, ‘Want’ – which features a cameo from TONY and EMMY-winning singer-actor Billy Porter – arrives on the same day as its parent album, ‘Montero’ (click here to stream).

September 3 brought with it the long-awaited premiere of Camila Cabello‘s modernized, ‘girl power’ twist to the classic fairy tale, ‘Cinderella.’

Leading a bill of award-winning stars like Idina Menzel (TONY), Billy Porter (TONY, EMMY), and others, Cabello also captained the Amazon Prime film’s official motion picture soundtrack – which shared the same premiere date as its parent project.

Boasting only a handful of original songs (i.e. ‘Dream Girl,’ the Cabello-penned ‘Million to One,’ etc.), the movie’s companion album shined brightest with its collage of remakes of classic hits like Madonna‘s ‘Material Girl,’ Janet Jackson‘s ‘Rhythm Nation,’ Earth, Wind & Fire‘s ‘Shining Star,’ Salt-N-Pepa‘s ‘Whatta Man,’ and more.

Helping to lead the ‘Cinderella’ flick to become Amazon’s most-viewed offering the weekend of its release, look inside to see if that success spilled over to the soundtrack itself.

As we inch closer to the September 17 unveiling of Cynthia Erivo‘s debut album, ‘Ch. 1 vs 1,’ the GRAMMY, TONY, and EMMY-winning diva lifts the lid on more music set to be housed on the long-awaited LP.

Just a month after introducing fans to the effort’s first single, the critically acclaimed ‘The Good’ (click here to listen), Erivo has followed with the alt-R&B tinged tune, ‘Day Off.’

“Day Off” is about “what it would be like if I asked someone to stop working and to take a minute with me to do something—anything,” Cynthia says of the touching cut. “I know what that means. I know that feeling when you’re with someone, you’re both going and going, and then you just stop and take the whole day to spend together.”
