To say Katt Williams‘ brought 2024 in with a bang would be an understatement.
Firing shots that are still ringing around the world courtesy of a jaw-dropping interview on Shannon Sharpe‘s ‘Club Shay Shay,’ the EMMY Award-winning comedian had viewers laughing, crying, shocked, and appalled at his weigh in on everything from Diddyand Jonathan Majors‘ respective legal woes to his personal gripes with fellow comedians Tiffany Haddish, Rickey Smiley, Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey, Faizon Love, Michael Blackson, and more.
And while fellow comic-actor Kevin Hart and rapper-actor Ludacris have already made headlines for their responses to the firestorm of conversation Katt’s commentary created, many of the other names dropped have people talking as well for their stinging clap backs.
Just as the 2023 Primetime EMMYs were delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes so were the Creative Arts EMMYs that annually precede them.

Serving as the launch single from the performer’s sophomore album ‘2000 Watts,’ the infectious jam was crafted by the producing collective The Underdogs.
Having found favor with butter-smooth ballads such as ‘Sweet Lady’ on his debut effort, the singer’s second swing of the bat saw him looking to showcase his versatility. Not just sonically, but visually too.
Because beyond turning up the BPM with this club jam, Tyrese embraced choreography with the MTV-era dance break featured in the Dave Meyers-directed music video.
