Rising R&B star Luke James may have toured with Beyonce, released a critically praised album, and received two consecutive Grammy nominations, but that hasn’t halted his hustle.

The soul-filled belter styles and profiles in the newest issue of Zink Magazine.

Posing in an array of dapper ensembles, the New Orleans native revealed that he’s hard at work on his sophomore album and may collaborate with girlfriend Jessie J “when the mood is right.”

Beyond the impeccable list of hits The-Dream has penned (which include ‘Single Ladies’ and ‘Umbrella’, the songwriter is renown for his debate-inciting soundbites.

The latest came during a new interview with Billboard; within the feature Dream – real name Terius Nash – delved into the “battle” Black artists tend to face compared to their Caucasian counterparts in the music industry.

During his lengthy explanation, he playfully yet seriously threw a few jabs at producer Dr. Luke, who he cites as being among the list of those who borrow from Urban culture to replicate in the Pop sphere.

If Fifth Harmony were to look in their ‘Reflection,’ success is what would be staring back at them.

The Epic Records outfit have ample cause for celebration today. For, their current single ‘Worth It’ featuring Kid Ink has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

And while the factoring in of streams into certifications has somewhat distorted how much sold vs how much streamed debate, the group’s award is specifically for sales – which renders it even more impressive!

Label head LA Reid presented the ladies with their plaques while backstage at Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where the rising stars lit up the stage with a rousing rendition of ‘Worth.’
