Congratulations are in order for Pop titan Lady Gaga.
The ‘Applause’ singer earned that and more from the 46th annual Songwriter’s Hall of Fame last night, where she received the coveted Contemporary Icon Award.
Gaga was presented with the honor in front of an audience comprised of industry figures at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York. According to organizers, the award is bestowed upon a performing songwriter “who has attained an iconic status in pop culture.”
From where we’re standing, it’s entirely deserved!
The singer has had a hand writing most of her hits, including ‘Poker Face,”Just Dance,’ ‘Bad Romance,’ and 2013’s ‘Applause.’
