The family of 81-year-old legendary comedienne Joan Rivers’ “remain hopeful” despite reported concerns from doctors that her condition will not improve. As we previously reported, the famed ‘Fashion Police’ hostess was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital after going into cardiac arrest during a throat procedure. Shortly thereafter she was placed on life support.
Amidst growing rallied support from fellow celebrities and fans, her daughter, Melissa Rivers, took to the net to thank the masses for their encouragement:
“I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.”
