Stirring an already boiling pot of anticipation for his sixth studio album ‘X,’ Grammy winning singer/songwriter Chris Brown has given fans a taste of what his new project is serving via hit singles ‘Loyal,’ ‘Fine China,’ and the Usher-assisted ‘New Flame.’

Now, with his first post-prison interview, the R&B bad boy took to Billboard magazine to encourages #TeamBreezy to look for more than club bangers and sexually charged numbers from his forthcoming LP.

“I think for this album I just want the fans to see the growth, coming of age, becoming a man, but also still being able to move with the culture, ya know influence the culture,” he said. “With this album I want to just project that and have them see what I can bring to the table as an artist and entertainer.”

In addition to touching on topics of personal and artistic maturity, the now highly publicized sit down also saw him weigh in on love, loss, and, of course, Rihanna.  Accompanied by a kaleidoscope of the ‘Look At Me Now’ hitmaker’s statement fashion pieces and visual art, tuck in below to see a behind the scenes look at the interview and its adjoining photo shoot:

The name Ray Rice was virtually inescapable today as headlines flooded the net about the running back’s unceremonious dismissal from the NFL following horrific footage of him attacking his wife in an elevator.

The story was, to some degree, old news, but today’s newly surfaced footage not only brought the story back to life, but also brought with it an indefinite end to Rice’s roll with the Baltimore Ravens team that brought him fame.  Scoring a weigh-in from everyone to celebrities and many-a-social media user, one commenter’s criticism earned him a considerable backlash – Columbus Short.

Fans may recall that Short, former star of ABC’s hit series ‘Scandal,’ was under investigation himself for allegedly choking and allegedly threatening to kill his wife.  A report that would later lead to his dismissal from the Kerry Washington-led series.

Now, is the singer/dancer/actor singing another tune?
