At the outset of the commercial, a lower-third graphic lists the song playing in the background, “She Came to Give It to You,” and says, “From the album **.”

When reached by Billboard, a rep for Usher said the album title is not yet confirmed.

But if this is the name of Usher’s upcoming studio album, then it looks like a certain loose-lipped, breakfast-loving insect just spilled the beans (or the bee-ans, if you will). U-R in trouble, Cheerios bee!

So, just what the R&B icon has named his new LP?

Lauryn Hill ventures into painful territory in honour of slain teen Michael Brown today, releasing a piece named ‘Black Rage‘ to shed light on horrors suffered by African-Americans in a prejudiced world.

Originally performed her ‘Life Is Good/Black Rage’ joint tour with Nas in 2012, what awaits below is the official project’s official version, unveiled in direct response to Brown’s murder, which has dominated headlines and reopened racial-related wounds since it occurred on August 9th 2014.

Because on September 15th VH1 are set to open a fresh can of ratchet reality with the debut of ‘Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood’.

The latest instalment of the hit franchise appears to serve up the same brand of drama and theatrics that have made its New York and Atlanta cousins such compelling viewing. With the state of race relations being a hot topic in the US (see: Mike Brown), the arrival of rapper T.I.‘s new song ‘New National Anthem’ is particularly timely.

The haunting track, which features Skylar Grey, spotlights the Hip-Hop star’s take on social injustice in America.

This Sunday sees Beyonce take the stage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards – not only to perform, but to also receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
