And while his newest effort, the PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U,’ will likely keep his streak of chart-topping alive, industry analysts are predicting it will do so via a steep decline in premiere sales compared to its predecessors.

Over 7 years after first thrilling Urban music lovers with their joint effort, 2017’s ‘F**k a Friend Zone’ mixtape, R&B crooner Jacquees and femcee DeJ Loaf reunited for the project’s conceptual sequelF**k a Friend Zone 2.’

A 16-song effort, the Valentine’s Day-released reunion opus includes the warmly received singles ‘Just Another Love Song,’ ‘Favorite One,’ and ‘Back Door’ with the latter being the latest to be gifted the video treatment.

“Leave the keys at the back door / You know what I’m coming over for / Hit my phone when you ready, oh / I swear this feeling’s coming heavy / Leave your keys at the back door / This the moment we’ve been waiting for,” ‘Quees sings over a Nash B-produced chorus.

Dropped Friday (February 14), the bedroom-ready banger sees its performers trade verses about bringing the worst out of each other in the best way.

Late 2024 saw Alabama rapper OMB Peezy give his breakout hit ‘Lay Down‘ a revamp eight years after bursting onto the scene with the infectious bop.

Tag-teaming with fellow Southern emcee GloRilla to give the cut new life, their joint take on the 2016 song majorly amplified its presence on social media – a feat they’re likely to repeat with the long-awaited unveiling of the tune’s official music video.

“All of that woofin’ like you ’bout that sh-t / Better stop that sh-t (Stop that sh-t) / B-tch, I got somethin’ to make you lay down,” the duo rap over Drum Dummie production.

ASAP Rpcky Verdict

ASAP Rocky has been found Not Guilty of assault with a semi-automatic firearm.

The rapper stood accused of firing the weapon at his former friend ASAP Relli during a 2021 dispute in Hollywood.

36-year-old ASAP (born Rakim Mayers) pleaded not guilty to the two charges he faced.

For weeks, a Los Angeles jury heard evidence from witnesses and now their decision has been handed down.

MOBO Awards 2025 Winners

The stars aligned tonight for the MOBO Awards.

For more than two decades, the ceremony has served as the top beacon of honor for Music of Black Origin in the UK.

This year’s edition of the world-renowned show took place at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena and saluted the names and releases that have made the last twelve months so action-packed.
