Tamar Braxton is toasting the 10th anniversary of her breakthrough album ‘Love and War.’

Unleashed in 2013, the project is home to songs such as its anthemic title track, ‘The One,’ and ‘All The Way Home.’

The album earned Braxton three nominations at the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards: Best Urban Contemporary Album, as well as Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for its title track.

In celebrating the milestone, Braxton has announced that she’ll be celebrating by going on the ‘Love and War 10th Anniversary Tour.’

It’s that time of year!

The BET Hip-Hop Awards 2023 are around the corner. As such, nominations for the hotly anticipated ceremony have been unveiled.

Cardi B and 21 Savage jointly lead with a whopping 12 nods each. Drake follows with 9.

Other notable names who scored multiple nominations include Burna Boy and DJ Khaled (7 apiece), J. Cole (6), and Jay-Z, GloRilla, and Coi Leray (all of whom nabbed 5).

This year’s installment of the show takes place in Atlanta, GA on October 3 and airs on October 10 on BET at 9pm ET/PT.

Speaking on the nods, Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy for BET said in a statement:

Isabel Wilkerson‘s best-selling book, ‘Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents,’ is getting the movie treatment thanks to EMMY Award-winning director Ava DuVernay.

Transforming the narrative into a personal story reflective of the author’s experiences, the film – titled ‘Origin‘ – was also written and produced by DuVernay and stars EMMY and Academy Award nominee Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor as Wilkerson, a researcher exploring the caste systems in America, Nazi Germany, and India to find that all are “linked.”

The forthcoming film also boasts big names like Jon Bernthal, Niecy Nash-Betts, Blair Underwood, Finn Wittrock, Jasmine Cephas-Jones, Vera Farmiga, Audra McDonald, Nick Offerman, and Connie Nielsen among its star-sudded cast.
