Much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.  So in a quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday we introduced a new retrospective segment – ‘TGJ Replay’.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase albums (and eras) from a library of pop music hits.  Up next?  R&B triple threat Mya‘s critically acclaimed tertiary album ‘Moodring’…

As far as her up tempos go, Rihanna has always struggled to execute the renditions of her cuts live half as well as well as she does in the studio.

However, the same can’t be said when it comes to her ballads or mid tempos. The proof of that pudding was showcased in the earlier part of last week, when she took her ‘Diamonds World Tour’ to Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena, and performed her Reggae kissed cut ‘No Love Allowed.

Eve is back!

Eleven long years have passed since the fiery femcee blessed the industry with a studio album. However, next month sees the star open a new musical chapter with comeback LP ‘Lip Lock’.

In the making since 2007, the ‘She Bad Bad’ led project has survived two record deals and will finally arrive on the rapper’s independent imprint From The Rib Music on May 14th in the US. A European release is scheduled for later this Summer.
