The sales of Mariah Carey‘s last album ‘Memoirs’ may have been a nightmare, yet that hasn’t deterred the diva from re-teaming with the main culprit behind it, The-Dream.
Turning her attention from the media spectacle of her feud with Nicki Minaj, the American Idol Judge is putting her energy into her upcoming studio album – which according to her manager Randy Jackson is due next March.
As per the Twitter pic Mimi shared above, The-Dream is the latest to join the All-Star cast of hitmakers assembled for the as yet untitled project. Other names confirmed to be involved include Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, and No ID.

While we’re inclined to side-eye ol’ Mimi for this (it didn’t work the last time, why should it now), we’ll embrace our fair and unbias nature by waiting to hear the material first.
The largely Dream produced ‘Memoirs’ may have been a ‘Triumphant’ flop (much like her last single), yet the pair can still boast of chart-topping success together in the form of ‘Touch My Body’. That said, that track – for all its success – was also mess. So color us confused. Here’s hoping Mimi and Terius can come up with something that’ll help understand why they’re together again.
