VH1 may not know her as its darling diva anymore, but that definitely hasn’t stopped the hustle of a certain Tiffany Pollard.  Best known as the brazen beauty “New York” (‘Flava of Love’,‘I Love New York’), the once-aspiring actress will now see her name atop a colorful cast on LOGO‘s newest series ‘DTLA’.

A scripted series set to follow the lives of a variety of characters who live, work, and play in downtown L.A., the show (from the directors of ‘The L Word’) will also be starring Darryl Stephens (best known for his work as Noah on the channel’s hit “Noah’s Arc” series), Melanie Griffith, comedienne  Sandra Bernhard, and more.

Move over Mary Mary!

For, after news that fellow gospel performers Marvin Sapp and Kim Burrell earning their own reality shows, BET now unveils news of plans to introduce their first gospel reality show – starring none other than famed gospel legend Karen Clark Sheard (one fourth of the legendary Clark Sisters).

Joined by daughter/Urban contemporary gospel songstress Kierra Sheard and son/proudcer J. Drew Sheard, the show is one of many new “spiritually themed” programs being added to the channel in the coming months.  Reportedly already a month into taping, no official news has been unveiled of the show’s premiere date.

Seems ‘Enough of No Love’ songstress Keyshia Cole has had enough of the antics of lip balm boycotter Gucci Mane after the rapper mentioned her in a recent Young Jeezy diss track.

As hip hop fans may know, the two emcees have long been beefing – with the latest jab coming from ‘Icy’ hitmaker’s ‘Truth’. The track, to which Gucci recently granted the visual treatment, mentions Cole’s former relationship with Jeezy and implies the ‘I Should’ve Cheated’ songstress was having an affair with hip hop mogul P. Diddy.

With 24 million copies sold worldwide as of this month, Adele‘s ‘21‘ stands as the best selling album of the past decade- surpassing records previously held by Michael Jackson‘s ‘Thriller’ and Usher‘s 2004 mega seller ‘Confessions‘.

Now, it has emerged that the singer’s record label XL Recordings reaped major financial rewards as a result of the LP’s success. Rewards, to the tune of $41 million.

Boasting tributes and performances by Britney Spears, Jennifer Hudson, Halle Berry and LL Cool J, today saw footage from Ushers tribute to the icon surface online.

A performance,  which both showcases Usher’s skill as a vocalist and conviction as an entertainer- serving justice to Houston’s take on ‘I Believe In You & Me’, originally released by The Four Tops in 1983.
