Last night saw Rihanna rocks Las Vegas’ MGM Grand for her stint at this year’s ‘I Heart Radio Fest‘.
Whipping up a set of her more recognizable releases, her performance now awaits your viewing below.
Find out how she fared…
It was supposed to be one of the year’s greatest releases- following the epic launch of Lady GaGa‘s ‘Telephone’ outing with Beyonce.
However, despite recording the single and travelling to Brazil to shoot its big budget video, nothing came of Alicia Keys’ duet with the ‘End Of Time‘ singer, despite the frenzy whipped up by Keys in support of her 2010 LP ‘The Element Of Freedom‘.
Now, one year after being quizzed by That Grape Juice on the video’s absence, and two years after it was due for release, Alicia has finally revealed why fans will not be seeing the Melina piece.
Her statement below…
This month brings with it the release of two of the year’s most anticipated albums courtesy of Pop stars Pink and No Doubt. Hence in a bid to whip up heightened excitement for both, the popular entities joined forces tonight at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
The magic moment came during No Doubt’s performance of the classic ‘Just A Girl’, when Gwen invited the ‘Blow Me’ singer onstage to join in on vocal duties.

With her debut flick ‘Battleship’ may have crashing and burning at the Box Office and ratings for her British ‘Styled To Rock’ series pulling a ‘Glitter‘, you’d think Rihanna‘d be a little stressed out.
Well, if her latest antics are anything to go by, she isn’t. In fact, despite her seventh studio LP fast approaching, Riri seems to have ample time for fun on her hands. Time, which though we’d rather see invested in rehearsals, sees her enjoying the company of strippers exotic dancers.
Find out what we mean, at your own risk, below…
Despite being one of Pop’s stronger pieces, Christina Aguilera‘s 2010 effort ‘Bionic‘ found itself shunned and overlooked, as a result of the negative press the vocalist fell prey to at the time.
Failing to soar commercially, it would take two years for the album to earn the respect its currently being afforded, following Aguilera’s successful stint on ‘The Voice’.
Now, she has spoken openly on the era.
Her estimation below…
Solange Knowles was in a good company hours ago, when she bumped into ‘Runnin’ Rapper Azealia Banks at Milan Fashion week.
Front row at ‘Just Cavalli’, the creative pair posed for many a snap before and after enjoying the high end presentation, more of which is available below…
At That Grape Juice we’re not just keen to introduce you to new talent, we’re eager to follow their journey. Case, point, rising star Chris Grant.
The acclaimed dancer, who we profiled last year, this week released the video for his debut single, ‘Good Night’.
We caught up with Grant over the phone last week to discuss his journey up to this point. Peep a few excepts below…
“I’ve always wanted to be an entertainer, more specifically a singer, from when I was younger. When Michael (Jackson) was alive, I made it my goal to meet him, to dance for him as a back-up dancer. And when I did that during the This Is It Tour (as sad as that ended up being), I feel like that dream had somewhat been fulfilled. So, within myself, I believe it’s the right time to become the performer, the entertainer I’ve always dreamed to be. I’ve also grown so much as a singer since the Making The Band days too. I just want people to see what else I can do beyond dance my ass off (laughs)”.
“I’m not a Whitney Houston or Luther Vandross type vocalist. That’s not me. I make music that makes you want to move, music that makes you want to dance in the club. Of course, there are other sounds (on my album), but my core is music that inspires you to move. I’m a performer, I want to entertain”.
I really enjoy the music of the Usher‘s and Chris Brown‘s. And yes, we all dance and entertain. But we’re all quite different. Though Chris Brown is Pop-R&B, he leans more towards”House”, while for me I’m a Pop guy. My biggest inspirations are Michael and Janet. So, I draw from them most, as I strive to make my own mark with my own signature.”
***********
We’re liking what we see of Chris and so are the likes of Beyonce (he choreographed her ‘End of Time’ routine) and energy drink’s giant P.u.s.s.y (owned by Richard Branson’s offspring, Holly and Sam).
With ‘Good Night’ due for release on October 1st (click here to pre-order), Grant has set sail on an International promo run, which most recently saw him perform at the Festival Show in Verona, Italy in font of a crowd of 25,000!
As his buzz continues to build, we’re sure his name is one that’ll become etched in mass consciousness. His talent demands it.
Label: Chokolate Records Ltd.
With many an acclaimed writer hard at work on her new album, Rihanna took to a Las Vegas gun range hours ago to work on her shooting skills.
Fortunately for her, her voice remains the only weapon the world need fear, after showcasing her impeccable aim in the snap below, weeks before news on her forthcoming LP is set to hit the net.
Did you hear that too?
No, well that was the sound of bottles being popped over at Universal Music- in response to the the good news they’d have received this morning.
Good news, which will see the plans to purchase EMI come to fruition after winning the approval of the European Commission.
Details below…
