King B she may be, but oh did Beyonce serve at the V Festival tonight!

The global force rocked the UK extravaganza with a headlining set that consisted of her classic catalogue of hits as well as newer fan-favourites such as ‘Grown Woman’.

In an era where image is everything, the singer’s new shorter hair ‘do was a major talking point – with fans and critics hailing her latest look as “fresh” and “exciting”. Better yet, if what we’re hearing (from multiple sources) proves true, so too is her new music! Bring it on!

Career in the dumps?

Yet to make good on that ‘come back’ you’ve spent the last decade plotting?

Well, if the above apply to you, it would seem Interscope‘s Kendrick Lamar may just have given you another lifeline, by way of his controversial verse on Big Sean‘s ‘Control‘.

Now, in attempt to revive his career using that lifeline, Cassidy takes aim at Lamar with his very own take on ‘Control’.

R&B legends Toni Braxton and Babyface have teamed up again, mixing and meshing their iconic talents for a new Motown flavoured album.

Having cooked up prior hits together in a artist-producer context (see: ‘You’re Making Me High’ ‘Breathe Again’), the pair’s new project is a duet affair

Originally due on Monday, the LP’s lead single, the stirring ‘Hurt You’, received its premiere via Foxy 107.1 moments ago. That Grape Juice has you covered, though. Take a listen below…

As sophomore albums go, Jessie J‘s is easily one of the most anticipated Pop efforts of the year.

Having yielded hit singles ‘Wild’ and ‘It’s My Party’, the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Who Are You’ was officially christened ‘Alive’ today, with its accompanying cover unwrapped on the Brit-belter’s Instagram account.

The 25-year-old permanently vacated her seat on The Voice UK recently to afford her more time properly “work” the project – which arrives on September 23rd.

Your thoughts?

Kelly Rowland has been rather quiet of late, hasn’t she?

Having signed on as a judge on The X Factor USA, the natural assumption is that her “hiatus” was being used to film the FOX hit – which returns to TV screens next month. However, with new album ‘Talk A Good Game’ still a “fresh release” and in need of a push, many were left scratching their heads as to why Ms. Kelly has seemingly disappeared from the spotlight.

Well, it appears they may indeed be a method to the madness.

As the likes of Lady GaGa and Katy Perry would have already learned, the inclusion of streaming views to Hot 100 chart placements truly is an industry God send.

Giving established acts like themselves no choice but to win with every release, the ladies will no doubt see their pal Beyonce fare just as well when she kicks off the campaign for her new album.

In fact, if a new feat landed by the star is anything to go by, she can expect her brand new single to soar straight to the Top Ten upon release.

Confused?

This week’s That Grape Juice Cover Star sails in from South Floridian crooner Random Wright.  Press ‘PLAY’ below to see Random take on Katy Perry‘s latest smash hit ‘Roar’ – the first release from her forthcoming album ‘Prism’ (October 22).

Alright then Mr. Wright.

Some of you may remember Random from his casting on MTV’s ‘Making the Band 4’, but for those of you who don’t, the video above provides just a glimpse of his ability.  Taking a lighthearted approach to Perry’s thunderous empowerment anthem, Wright was sure not to take away from the intensity of the song when it mattered most (i.e. the chorus).

Quite reminiscent of Jason Mraz in his approach to this tune, the simplicity of Random’s performance may seem just that when compared to the original. But, after just a few seconds of listening you quickly see that somehow, someway it just works.

Bravo!

It’s finally here!

The video for Chris Brown‘s ‘Love More’ premiered literally seconds ago. Serving as the latest single to be lifted from the singer’s ‘X’ LP, the cut features Young Money Mrs, Nicki Minaj.

The time is nigh!

Just days separate Lady GaGa fans (and critics) from the debut of the video of her blazing new single ‘Applause’. Hence, so as to crank anticipation into overdrive ahead of Monday’s ‘Good Morning America’ reveal, the Pop force has unwrapped a new promo teaser for the Inez and Vinoodh directed clip.

Aptly designed as a movie poster, word has it the clip -like most GaGa efforts- will be a short film. Roll on Monday!
