Get into these shots of Rihanna, on her way into London’s Whisky Mist following her set at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend.
Dressed in the same outfit she donned on stage, the ‘Battleship’ actress arrived at the spot with best friend Melissa and other members of her staff.
Staff, who are likely to be dealing with the polarizing criticisms that came from her performance last night, which saw some herald her live singing and leave others questioning both her talent and ‘stability’.
G.O.O.D Music star D’Banj made quite the splash at the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend yesterday. Already a megastar in his West African native of Nigeria, Kanye West’s protegee rocked East London with a must-see showing of his global break-out hit ‘Oliver Twist’.
British pin-up Conor Maynard serves up another taste of ‘Contrast’, ahead of its July 30th release, with the video for the LP’s 2nd single ‘Vegas Girl’.
Shot in New York, the clip does a solid job spinning the irony of that into a fairly compelling narrative.
Check out the 19 year old, who has collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Ne-Yo, and Rita Ora on his album, in action below…

Willow Smith had many a tongue wagging today, when the above snap of she, and what appears to be a friend, emerged online.
For, if one takes a close look inside the 11 year old’s mouth, you’d see what looks like a tongue piercing, forcing many to question its authenticity- considering the star’s age.
Here’s hoping Willow has her father’s sense of humor and is ‘pulling the world’s leg so to speak.
If not, here’s hoping her quest for ‘self expression’ doesn’t tar what could be a very fruitful career in music, in the way it has to so many before her.
True to her headline grabbing nature, Beyonce‘s presence at the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend was news in itself.
Indeed, the 30 year old megastar was snapped moshing and rocking in support of her husband Jay-Z. However, when not playing dutiful wife, the ‘Party’ singer enjoyed the rare London sun with sister Solange, who was also in town for the two-day extravaganza.
In case you were in doubt of just how talented Rihanna really is, look no further than her set at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend.
Possibly nervous with a certain Beyonce watching her from the audience, the show saw Ol’ Riri hit many a bum note, much to the discomfort of many a trained ear and her… her microphone.
A microphone, we’re sure could have done without being screamed into for an hour or so.
If so, you’re well prepared for the unholy mess that will be Rihanna’s Radio 1 Hackney Weekend set, taking place as you read this.
Snapped bleating into an unsuspecting microphone, the supermodel’s set marks one of her only festival performances this year, as she readies the release of her seventh studio album.
Keep it locked on That Grape Juice for the long awaited showing.
