Three generations of Knowles stepped out in style today!

Beyonce, baby Blue Ivy, and Mama Tina were snapped out and about in Manhattan this afternoon, each looking decidedly diva.

Draped in a fur baby carrier, Blue was once again hidden from view, while Tina trailed behind.

Expect to see much more of Bey and co as she gears up for her eagerly awaited return to the stage this May.

In 2011, three years after the release of ‘I Am..’, Beyonce delivered ‘4′- her first predominately R&B piece since 2003’s ‘Dangerously In Love‘.

Laced with Summer soaked medleys, stripped back ballads and Afro centric power jams, the project’s campaign was essentially cut short to make way for the star’s first child, Blue Ivy. This, despite marking the happiest time in Knowles’ life, also left many questions unanswered:

Would the album’s era continue well into 2012?

Would Blue’s arrival put B’s career on hiatus?

However, much to the relief of her fans, Knowles confirmed her return to the stage this month, readying a three day concert at New Jersey’s Revel Resorts in May.

As was to be expected, with this announcement came reports that a ‘re-boot’ of ‘4’ was also on its way- with the promise of singles that would soar to heights their predecessors didn’t. Indeed, despite reaching #1, the album is yet to spawn a Billboard #1 Hot 100 single- meaning 2008’s ‘Single Ladies’ was single by Mrs. C to sit atop the coveted tally.

A fact, much of her ‘Beyhive’ resents.

So, with Rihanna turning up  the heat on a singles front and GaGa reportedly releasing  her fourth studio LP this year, we ask:

What should Beyonce do next?

Weigh in below…

With season 2 of ‘Braxton Family Values’ wrapped, this week sees the Braxton sisters sit down for the annual reunion special.

Hosted by Wendy Williams, the show -which airs this Thursday on We tv- looks set to serve up all the laughs and drama we’ve come to know and love on the show itself.

Following a three year crawl back to the top, Chris Brown is seeing the title of latest LP, ‘Fortune’, ring true months ahead of its release.

Indeed, the set’s preceding singles ‘Strip’ and ‘Turn Up The Music’ have soared on charts Stateside, with the latter now on course to achieve a career first for the 22 year old in the UK.

If she’s “very rich b*tch”, NeNe Leakes is set to become all sorts of wealthy.

Why?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star  has snagged a major role in a new sitcom!

Leakes, 44, has been starring in the current season of Glee and seems to have impressed creator Ryan Murphy, who has cast her in his upcoming new show.

The NBC comedy pilot is titled ‘The New Normal’ and revolves around a blended family of a gay couple and their surrogate. Co-created by Ali Adler, the show will see Leakes play the heavily recurring role of Rocky. {Source}

If there’s one thing certain about “reality”, is that it’s as uncertain as a genre comes. So, more power to Ms. Leakes for building her brand while the going’s good.

While 2012 promises new releases from the Chris Brown‘s and Beyonce‘s of the world, a certain newcomer is quietly brewing up a storm. A potent one at that.

Brace yourselves for vocal hurricane Luke James.

Already featured on That Grape Juice’s ‘The Splash’ last December, the New Orleans native is currently putting the finishing touches to his Def Jam debut (due later this year).

Hence, so as to whet your appetite, we revisit his stunning take on friend Kelly Rowland‘s ‘All of the Night’ (which features the Destiny’s Child star…via the power of technology).

Whether you like it or not, Iggy Azalea is slowly becoming the breakout act of 2012.

For, with material almost as attention grabbing as her signature look and the backing of Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine, Azalea’s career is looking all kinds of promising.

Now peep her recent shoot with ‘Complex‘ magazine, and find out why she has to say about her ascent below…

Dawn Richard is striking out solo.

A former staple of Diddy groups, Danity Kane and Dirty Money, the talented songbird today releases her debut EP ‘Amour On’.

And in continuing her promo push for the project, the former reality star strikes a fierce pose for the latest issue of Heed magazine.

Having listened to the set over at AOL, it’s fair to say the material is equally as great. Kudos to Dawn. Now she’s out the clutches of the career gobbler, here’s hoping she finds a label that “gets” and pushes her. She’s too gifted to fall into Pop oblivion.
