Continuing along the promo trail for new movie ‘Good Deeds’, Tyler Perry stopped by E!’s ‘Chelsea Lately’ this week.

And with host Chelsea Handler being who she is, the chat -predictably-ventured into territory beyond ‘Deeds’, namely Perry’s next movie ‘The Marriage Councellor’ – which stars Kim Kardashian. A controversial casting which, according to the ‘Madea’ star, saw him at the receiving end of stinging critisism.

Watch above as Perry hilariously reveals that he didn’t know who she was before signing her on…

Feast your eyes on Ms. Misha B, rocking this year’s X Factor UK tour last night.

Dazzling fans with cuts performed on last year’s series, the star shared the stage with Little Mix, The Risk and ‘Seven Nation Army’  act Marcus Collins, to name just three.

For one reason or another, Azealia Banks has developed a habit of trash talking her contemporaries.

From downplaying Nicki Minaj‘s talent to labeling Kreayshawn a ‘dumb b”tch’, Banks is becoming just as renowned for her uncensored opinions as she is for her ever exciting music.

This week- while promoting her debut album, Kreayshawn has responded to Azealia’s remarks, admitting she found them to be hurtful.

This November, after what seems like an eternity, Leona will release her third studio album ‘Glassheart‘.

With confirmed production from Emeli Sande, Will.I.Am and Sandy Vee, the project’s sound- much like Lewis’ career- following reports the star was taking a more upbeat route for the project, a far cry from her previous studio efforts.

Now, in what serves as basis for these reports, Calvin Harris has signed onto to work the LP, months after rocketing to #1 with Rihanna‘s ‘We Found Love’.

Perhaps more than any femcee before her, Nicki Minaj‘s crossover into the mainstream has been greeted with both praise and critique. Yet following the release of new single ‘Starships’, the Young Money maven has been at the receiving end of heightened backlash from some sects for “selling out”.

Never one to hold her tongue, Lil Kim‘s arch nemesis hit back at her detractors in a new interview with Funk Master Flex.

Over here at TGJ HQ, we often wonder what life must be like for a Nicki Minaj hater.

Indeed, from her countless award wins, blockbuster sales and general winning streak, we know how hard it must be to wake up every morning, knowing the new day will bring more good news for the Hip Pop star.

So, in what you might call a friendly disclaimer, we advise all Minaj naysayers against watching the clip posted below.

If however you are of sound mind and consider yourself to be a Nicki Minaj fan, tuck in to footage of her shooting her upcoming ‘Pepsi’ commercial below…

This week’s From The Vault serves up “filthy” in earnest. And we’re unapologetic too. For, there’s something to be said when such a risque cut wraps it’s legs around Pop culture, gripping it until the masses can’t but sing along. No, we’re not talking about Rihanna and Chris Brown‘s ill-prepared ‘Birthday Cake’.

We’re talking Khia‘s ‘My Neck, My Back (Lick It)’.

Released over 10 years ago from the femcee’s ‘Thug Misses’ debut, ‘Neck’ has become somewhat of an underground classic and easily rapper’s most renown effort to date. Reaching the 4th position of the UK Official Singles Chart and peaking inside the Top 50 of Billboard’s Hot 100, the “pleasure-manual” is considered by many a guilty pleasure. For as “taboo” as it may be for some, it’s near-impossible to deny the track’s heavy dose of “infectious”.

Diane Martel was tapped to direct the song’s pool-party video. And, though another promo visual (featuring models in bikini’s lipsynching to the track) was later commisioned (the ultimate shade, right?), we’d much rather see the self-proclaimed Queen of the South show folk how to “do it, do it” herself.

Cop a gander at Glee star Amber Riley!

The actress and vocal powerhouse, 26, has been rocking a noticeably slimmer frame as of late – one she tells PEOPLE is down to cutting out the fast food and burgers which she says “were attacking my stomach.”

Seven months of sticking to a new diet and exercise plan have seen the budding diva hit a weight loss milestone: “I dropped two dress sizes!” she tells the publication.

A cheque her recent appearance at the NAACP Awards 2012 can certainly cash (as seen above).

Speaking on her new physique, Riley – who plays Mercedes Jones on the Fox show, said  “I’m a lot more comfortable in dresses, especially gowns”.

Although, her healthier shape has caused drama in the costume department. “We had to revamp the wardrobe,” she says. “They bought a lot of new clothes for me and we have to take in a lot of my pants and dresses.”

Despite the loss of pounds, Riley asserts “I’ve always been comfortable with my size. I just decided it was time to get healthy.” And wear healthy well she does.

The runway success of Bravo’s  ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ has seen much of the cast try their hand other ventures. However, for Kandi Burrus the “reality” pie is one she clearly has a sweet-tooth for, as she is gearing up for the premiere of her spin-off series ‘The Kandi Factory’.

Set to debut on March 4th, the show will see the former Xscape singer give two protégés, with no music industry experience, the chance to fly to Atlanta where she will write an original song for each based on their personal experiences. Thereafter, the amateurs will be coached her team of “experts” – comprised of a producer, choreographer and stylist – to master the key elements that make a pop star.

The winner will see their song and accompanying video produced and released by The Kandi Factory.

A reach? Perhaps. However, we applaud Ms. Burrus’ hustle. More power to her.

Rihanna and Chris Brown set the net alight this week when they premiered not one, but two collaborations. Indeed, the former couple tackled the Bajan’s ‘Birthday Cake’ and Brown’s ‘Turn Up The Music’.

Given the circumstances surrounding their abrupt break-up (see: “the incident”), many are understandably livid.

Hit ‘PLAY’ above to watch That Grape Juice weigh in on the story on everyone’s lips!

As one of Rap’s rising stars, Azealia Banks has made quite the splash in recent months.

Courting controversy with a number of Nicki Minaj based remarks and her oh so crass lyrics, Banks’ debut album is without a doubt one of the year’s more anticipated releases.
