‘The Heat’ hitmaker Toni Braxton was bringing just that in this sexy and sheer black gown last night at The Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Nominees Night’ in L.A.  While Tinseltown preps for this weekend’s Academy Awards showing, Braxton, like many other celebs, will be spotted hitting up many-an-event in celebration of the historic awards show.

Rocking this Marc Bouwer number, Miss Braxton guested the event’s red carpet just shortly after her fan-pleasing announcement that next month would see the first single, ‘I Heart You’, from her forthcoming May album.  Until then, get into the pics of the ‘Let It Flow’ singer’s flowing black gown (thanks YBF)…

Despite being well received by her fans,  Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way’  has been unable to shake off a number of criticisms aimed its way since its 2011 release.

Labelled ‘boring’ by Chris Richards of The Washington Post and ‘unsubtle’ by the LA Times’ Randall Roberts, this week saw the star defend the LP against NME Magazine, who branded it ‘pretentious’.
