Chris Brown is keeping his comeback campaign steam-rolling ahead with the forthcoming release of new album ‘Fortune’. The sequel to last year’s ‘Fame’ is slated to arrive in stores in March; and so as to whet appetites, the 22 year old star has unveiled a new promotional shot for the set.

Fashion forward for some, we’re not sure PETA will be too pleased about this one.

R&B bombshell Melanie Fiona rocks out a fierce photoshoot for the latest edition of ‘Rolling Out’ magazine.  The Grammy nominated songstress, who was just featured in MTV’s ‘Most Criminally Overlooked Artists of 2011’ (and we strongly agree), is said to be readying ‘Running’ – the next single to be launched from her forthcoming, criminally delayed ‘The MF Life’.  Led by ‘4 A.M.’, the album is reportedly finally making its way to shelves on February 7th.

Jennifer Hudson is doing a take two on NBC this week while on promo tour for her new book ‘I Got This’.  Fans got a glimpse at the songstress last night on her tell all, sit down with NBC’S ‘Dateline’ and today saw the diva drop by again to delve into more of the topics that oft find mention in her interviews – her weight loss, weight loss, family life, and weight loss.

Though best known for her career-long war waged against eardrums, ‘Man Down’ diva Rihanna has exchanged that battle skill set for another set of weapons as evidenced by her forthcoming film venture ‘Battleship’.  Despite ‘Talk That Talk’ barely staying afloat in Billboard’s upper half, ‘Ship’ sees the island beauty fill out a cast featuring  famed actors Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch.  Boasting a reported budget of $200 million, the Peter Berg-directed film will certainly have high expectations when it sails into theaters on May 18th.

Say what you will about Rap Icon Lil Kim, but if the last two years have proved anything it is that both she and her music are just as provocative as they were back when she debuted almost twenty years ago.

For, after using the hype surrounding Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ to promote her controversial ‘Black Friday’ mix tape  and reestablish her status as major player in contemporary Hip Hop, she has in many ways succeeded in forcing the world to pay careful attention to both she and her oft enjoyable material.

Now, after coming under fire for delaying ‘Friday’s  long awaited follow up, there are  many who suspect the Rapper has set the project’s release date to coincide with the  release of Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘ in a bid to further capitalize on their long running feud.
