Lady GaGa brought her trademark brand of crazy to the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada last night. Pop’s most frequent flyer rocked the Ontario audience with stunning renditions of her chart smashes ‘The Edge of Glory’ and ‘Born This Way’ – both lifted from her Platinum selling LP of the same name.
Randomness: Hair, most certainly, grows, in the weirdest of places.

This week’s From The Vault spotlight’s Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z‘s 2003 classic, ‘Frontin”.
The song, which was a worldwide Top 10 hit, was the 1st single released from ‘The Neptunes Present: Clones’ album, but most importantly Mr Williams’ first strike as an headlining solo act.
What’s interesting about the track is how simple it is. Simple, yet effective. Despite the hitmaker’s lack of vocal prowess, the cut evokes an air of ‘Off The Wall’, particularly the bassline throughout the song. Even Skate Board P’s high-pitched delivery gives a nod to classic MJ. As ever, Jay-Z comes in and delivers his rap effortlessly.
The video may yet another house party, yet with a ‘is more’ approach taken to both the production and visual, this is hands down one of The Neptunes’ finer moments!
They tried to make her go to rehab, she went, yet the state of Amy Winehouse‘s career still remains a big ‘no no’.
The troubled singer performed in Belgrade over the weekend, in what was being billed as a comeback of sorts for the singer. Indeed, fans and critics alike have been anticipating her next musical move – after a hiatus which saw her enter rehab and divorce husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
However, if her drunk stage showing is anything to go by, her career prospects are as empty as the bottle of Vodka she backed before this performance. So sad.
