Peep British belter Adele posing it up on the cover of June’s Q magazine.
The world at large will be in possession of her sophomore set ’21’ at the rate its selling. And, though her chart contemporaries must be fretting over her unstoppable nature, I find it refreshing is it to see actual talent dominating the charts. It’s long overdue.
Not one to hold her tongue, Tamar Braxton has ironically emerged as the most talked about aspect of ‘Braxton Family Values’.
Indeed, her sassy, tell-it-like-it-is manner has seen the 34 year strike a chord with viewers of the hit WeTV reality series, which focuses on her life, as well as those of her sisters, Trina, Towanda, Traci – and the legendary Toni Braxton.
Keen as ever to break out from behind the shadows of her siblings, Tamar talks it up with That Grape Juice about many a topic including: the re-launch of her solo career, whether she feels her antics on the show will harm it, critique of her marriage, being inspired by Beyonce, season two of ‘Braxton Family Values’ and much more!
As ever, we ask the questions you really want answers to. Ms. Braxton, as you’ll see, answers and then some.
Jennifer Lopez‘s ‘Love’ LP may not be getting much of that from record-buyers, yet that didn’t stop the diva from smiling as she posed for the paps in Hollywood yesterday.
The American Idol judge and husband Marc Anthony were among a number of stars who came out to support television mogul Simon Fuller – who was receiving a star on the icon Walk of Fame.
As if you didn’t know, Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way’ album arrived in stores this week.
The superstar continues her quest to take the record to the top by gracing June’s issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
Randomness: One has to wonder if GaGa’s deep media penetration could lead to over-exposure in the not too distant future? Stil, unlike many who have fallen victim to such fate, the ‘Edge of Glory’ singer actually has the talent to back it up. I say, more power to her.
Update:
Check out the singer’s interview of The View after the jump…
Ciara lit up the red carpet in a figure-hugging ensemble at ‘The Hangover II’ premiere in New York City last night. The ‘Ride’ singer is said to be in the final stages of negotiation for a new record deal.
Jennifer Hudson sure is collecting air-miles, as she treks the globe in support of her ‘I Remember Me’ LP. The power-house vocalist is currently in Australia, where she hosted a special Ustream for fans last night.
On the broadcast, Hudson and her backing singers launched into an impromptu rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ (which was recently popularised by Alexandra Burke).
Listen to Jennifer soar in this stirring showing (the vocal of which is also refreshingly refined)…
Amidst her trademark wackiness, it’s easy to forget that Lady GaGa‘s fans are just as ‘out there’ as their idol. Dubbed the monsters, some most certainly looked the part when they showed up at Best Buy‘s ‘Born This Way’ album signing last night in New York.
There the star posed for pics with her adorning admirers, signed LP’s, and was, by all accounts, very GaGa.
Pop force Lady GaGa paid a visit to the Late Show With David Letterman last night, where she continued the agressive promotional push for her new ‘Born This Way’ LP.
Notably more ‘out-there’ than her recent media outings, the eccentric talked about her success, love life, fans, the album, and more. She also, true to form, shocked audience members when she began chewing host Letterman’s notes. Only GaGa.
‘The Oprah Winfrey’ show draws to an end this week – and oh does it go out with a bang. For, superstar Beyonce took to the stage at the star-studded event, treating the talk-show host and the thousands in attendance to an electrifying performance of new single ‘Run The World (Girls)’.
The Billboard Music Awards are currently underway at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. As ever, That Grape Juice will be providing you with performances as they occur!
