Check out soulful singer Solange rocking her son’s Julez’s new line of t-shirts. The youngster, 6, designed the line (‘Julez for Japan’) for the Peace Winds organisation. Proceeds from all shirts sold will be donated to those affected by Japan’s recent earthquake disaster.

Great to see Solange involving her son in such an honorable cause, at such a young age.

Peep this newly released promotional shot of Britney Spears for her forthcoming ‘Femme Fatale’ LP. Clearly, someone got carried with that Photoshop brush – the pic doesn’t look a thing like her. Rather, a randomer in a bag wig.

On a more positive note, Spears’ promotional push for ‘Fatale’s release next week is actually beginning to bulk up (gasp). For, the seemingly promo-shy singer has added Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel to her list of performance spots – which, until now – only included a mini-concert on Good Morning America.

All, of course, are set to be pre-recorded before airing. It’s the Spears way…

As you know, we here at That Grape Juice are ever on the lookout for tomorrow’s biggest stars. Enter Encore

The London based trio – consisting of Pierre (left), Cairo (centre), and Mark (right) –  have been generating quite the industry buzz, and look set to make quite the splash with their as-yet-untitled Universal Music debut later this year. It appears the likes of Tinie Tempah and fellow chart-topper Jessie J agree. Indeed,  the ‘Price Tag’ singer was so impressed with the guys that she requested they join her as special guest performers on her forthcoming UK tour.

Ahead of the national trek, the boys (who also write their material, we must add) have released a buzz single to give folk a taste of the Encore flavour. Check them out below..

The One

While we’re liking the potential the group possess (think a talented JLS), we’re (as ever) keen to see what you think. For, what you see on your favourite and mine is directly impacted by your response. So with that…

After encountering a few hurdles with his serially delayed ‘King of Hearts’ LP, R&B crooner Lloyd has found better luck with his latest single ‘Cupid’. Indeed, the Polow Da Don produced cut continues to climb at US Urban radio and is on-course to be a smash on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart.

Hence, the debut of its Mikey Finnigan directed video couldn’t have come at a better time. Check it out after the jump…

Fame. It is earned by people for either remarkable achievement or scandalous behaviour. However, for Chris Brown it occurs as a result of both.

Whether being praised for his brilliant live performances or scolded for his notorious actions, Brown has been the focus of media attention since his debut. However, the entertainer has managed to channel these pressures into a body of work that may very well be his best album to date.

Aptly entitled ‘F.A.M.E’, the 13-track LP demonstrates the versatility of an artist who, regardless of the tabloid headlines, has both the talent and passion to become a lasting figure in the music industry.

The Chris Brown promo train made a 2nd stop on BET’s ‘106 & Park’ this evening. The young performer, who released his ‘F.A.M.E’ album yesterday, used the opportunity to explain what really happened on ‘Good Morning America’ earlier this week following his highly publicised interview with Robin Roberts.

See what Brown had to say about the incident below:
