Jennifer Hudson is ready to release her long-awaited sophomore album. ‘I Remember Me’ follows her Grammy Award-winning debut LP, ‘Jennifer Hudson’, and will hit stores on March 22nd.

The 1st single from the project, ‘Where You At’, was written and produced by R. Kelly and is expected to premiere on radio on January 24th. Other contributors to the album include Ryan Tedder, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo and Stargate.

It looks like Rihanna’s new hairstyle wasn’t just for her ‘S&M’ music video. The Barbados import sported the look at Las Palmas nightclub in Los Angeles earlier this week, in her usual bid to maintain the public interest. The 2011 Grammy Awards ceremony is shaping up to be quite a show. In  addition to the previously announced list of performers comprising Eminem , Katy Perry and Lady GaGa, more high profile names have been added to the event.

Justin Bieber and his mentor, Usher, will hit the stage at the show, which airs on February 13th via CBS, alongside none other than Willow Smith’s equally famous brother, Jaden. Janelle Monae, B.o.B, Bruno Mars, Lady Antebellum and Muse have also been confirmed as featured performers, joining Cee Lo Green, Arcade Fire, Miranda Lambert and Muse on music’s biggest night.

Breakout star Bruno Mars has seen the last 12 months bring him much in the way of critical and commercial success. Nominated for a whopping 7 awards at this year’s Grammy’s, the singer-songwriter’s debut album – ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ – has been a global smash.

Currently doing a promotional run here in the UK, Mars visited the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge this week to perform his #1 hit ‘Grenade’, as well as a stunning rendition of Katy Perry’s ‘California Gurls’.

The 10th season of American Idol kicked off in spectacular fashion last night on Fox.

Boasting many a change, as well as a refreshed panel of judges (which now includes Jennifer Lopez and Aereosmith’s Steve Tyler), the latest series of the hit show looks set to revive interest in the franchise – ahead of the Stateside debut of Simon Cowell’s ‘X Factor’ this Fall.
