The top 10 best-selling albums of 2010 have been announced. Not surprisingly, Lady GaGa nabbed the #1 spot with her ‘The Fame Monster’ release which managed to sell over 5.8 million copies worldwide during the last 12 months. ‘Monster’ serves as the followup to GaGa’s debut album, ‘The Fame’, which has has sold an astounding 12 million units since August 2008.

Other artists who managed to score top honors in 2010 include Eminem, Justin Bieber, Sade and the Black Eyed Peas. Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ failed to make the top 10 despite having one of the largest promotional campaigns of the last year. Check out the full lineup below:

2010 has undeniably been the year for That Grape Juice. From quadrupling our traffic, to garnering increased recognition in the media-scape, the last 12 months has seen unprecedented growth within your favourite site and mine. Yet, never ones to be complacent, we’re looking to take such growth to the next level in 2011, hence the That Grape Juice team is expanding!

We’re looking for a dynamic, passionate, and articulate individual (or individuals) who will lend their talents to the team as a That Grape Juice Intern. The non-paid, largely editorial role is fixed for a term of 6 months (with more permanent opportunities a possibility thereafter). What is lacking in pay, is rich in opportunity; the chance to acquire valuable experience ‘behind the scenes’ of one of the net’s premier Urban Pop Culture websites.

Vocalist JoJo has laid low for much of 2010, however has been very busy behind the scenes. After severing ties with long-time label (amidst legal drama), the 19 year old signed with Ron Fair’s Interscope and has been working on her third studio album diligently since.

Jennifer Lopez looks every inch the diva she is in these sizzling new promotional shots for ‘American Idol’. As revealed in September, the 40 year old has joined the judging panel of the hit Fox show as part of a major overhaul; one which has seen Aerosmith front-man Steven Tyler also join the panel, and the show’s label partner change from Sony Music to Universal Music (Interscope).

Hip-Pop star Nicki Minaj donned a leopard-print one-piece to perform at Hot 97’s Christmas Concert last night (December 23th). Held at at New York City’s Paradise Theatre, the event also saw performances from the likes of Fabolous and G-Unit’s Lloyd Banks.

Performing on Christmas day; can’t knock Ms. Minaj’s hustle.
