Rising to fame as the breakout star of ‘Pop Stars: The Rivals” back in 2002, Cheryl Cole‘s story- albeit turbulent- is nothing short of fascinating.

For, by way of conveniently timed melodramas between she and footballer Ashley Cole, Simon Cowell’s ‘X Factor‘ , and the benefit of her ‘Girls Aloud’ platform, Cheryl has seen her water turned to premium wine. All, without a trace of discernible talent.

So, it should come as little surprise that in a recent interview with Pop Justice, she admitted to having no connection with her own lyrics.

Hard to believe it’s been 4 months since the music industry lost pop icon Whitney Houston. Hitting industry insiders and fans equally, the event rocked the world and rocked even harder the organizers of the next day’s 54th annual Grammy Awards.

In the new documentary, ‘A Death in the Family: The Show Must Go On,’ Grammy organizers recall and revisit the scramble of trying to put together a fitting tribute to the fallen starlet under the short notice.  Filled with commentary and never-before-seen footage, the most touching segment may very well be the planning of powerhouse vocalist Jennifer Hudson‘s stirring ‘I Will Always Love You’ tribute to Houston (whom she’s long touted an idol).

It must be the fortune of a TeamBreezy member to be graced with yet another song from R&B bad boy Chris Brown.  Indeed, few days have gone by since the announcement of ‘Fortune’, the follow-up to 2011’s Grammy winning ‘F.A.M.E.’, without the unveiling of a new tune.

Already boasting a collection of videos (‘Sweet Love’, ‘Strip’, ‘Turn Up the Music’, more),  now fans can add a new prize to their collection – ‘Calypso’.  Set to hit Itunes (digital) shelves on June 19th, it should be noted that the track will not feature on the finished ‘Fortune’ album.
