As evidenced by the ‘My Type’ remix (with Jhene Aiko and City Girls), ‘B*tch from Da Souf’ (with Latto and Trina), and her most recent top 20 smash ‘Best Friend’ (with Doja Cat), rising Rap diva Saweetie is no stranger to leveraging girl power to land a hit.

The potent formula is one that may be just what’s needed to push her latest female collaboration, ‘Baby Mama Coochie’ remix with BbyAfricka, to new Hot 100 heights.

Ahead of BbyAfricka’s debut project, ‘BIG AFRICKA’ (due June 18), she joined forces with Saweetie to deliver the ‘Coochie’ remix alongside an accompanying, Da’mon Broussard-directed visual for the cut.

Amid dropping and promoting new music for her long-awaited debut studio album, ‘Pretty B*tch Music’ (as we reported here), the ICY Girl is also using her platform to shine a spotlight on rising talents via the recently released ‘Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1’ (click here to stream).

Having already thrilled her fans (affectionately called the #ICYGang) with the Drakeo the Ruler-assisted ‘Risky’ from the set, now the rapstress (born Diamonte Harper) is trumpeting the arrival of relative newcomer Loui with their joint cut, ‘Talkin Bout.’

Anchored by a sample of Cali Swag District’s eternal party-starter, 2010’s ‘Teach Me How to Dougie,’ interpolated with elements of Kstylis’ signature hit ‘Booty Me Down,’ look down below the jump to watch Loui and Saweetie’s Whipaldo-directed music video for their duet.

“Iciest b*tch in the whole damn land / I hit the road in an all-white Lam’ / I keep a fresh set up on my hands / You don’t like me, but you on my ‘Gram / How you look? (How you look?), how you sound, ho / I’m a boss, I’m a brat, hard to handle,” she spits on the Monarch-produced cut.

You can never have a party with too much confetti.

Little Mix has returned with a video for their song ‘Confetti,’ which features Saweetie after they previously announced it this week.

On the track, she raps:

So my girl hit me up about a f***-boy dude / I said ‘hold on, hold on, what he said he did to you’? / Caught him sending d*** pics and a couple of nudes / Shit, we could chop it off and I’ma body this dude.

‘Confetti’ is the title track from the group’s sixth album of the same name (stream it here) and follows the smash ‘Sweet Melody.’

Saweetie may be currently seated at the highest rung she’s ever reached on the Hot 100 with her Doja Cat-assisted single, ‘Best Friend’ (#14 peak to date), but that doesn’t mean she’s resting on her laurels.

Ahead of the unveiling of her long-awaited debut studio album, ‘Pretty B*tch Music,’ the 27-year-old is tiding fans over with the April 16-released ‘Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1’ – a compilation EP highlighting up-and-coming musical talents (click here to stream).

Gwen Stefani‘s ‘Slow Clap’ has had a slow climb up charts (as of time reported) – a trajectory she’s looking to remedy with the tune’s bop of a remix.

Despite a promotional blitz to help maximize the tune’s exposure since it’s March 11 debut, ‘Clap’ hasn’t exactly been met with applause and fanfare on the Hot 100 as it’s yet to make a premiere appearance on the tally.

Tapping ‘Tap In’ star Saweetie to assist with its revamp, the ever-youthful Gwen takes her talents back to high school to render a colorful and energetic visual for ‘Slow’ that’s sure to quickly draw comparisons to her 2005 #1 hit, ‘Hollaback Girl.’

Sweet news for Saweetie fans!

The rising rapstress’ latest single, ‘Best Friend,’ had its best showing yet on the Billboard Hot 100 as it lifted to a new peak of #28 on the recently refreshed tally.

To keep that momentum going, Saweetie tagged fellow rapstress Stefflon Don to hop on the remix of the Dr. Luke-produced cut (which previously featured Doja Cat).

“You know I’m always killin’ the show / In the streets I’m a lady, in the bed I’m a hoe / Ain’t a stripper but I really put it down on the pole / Plus I get dizzy in the kitchen, flick my wrist on the stove,” Stefflon spits on the ‘Friend’ revamp.

While Cat fans won’t likely appreciate her contribution being limited to the chorus with the removal of her entire verse, will Stef’s addition be just what’s needed to finally push the bop into the top 20?

As we get closer to the release of Saweetie‘s long-awaited debut album, ‘Pretty B*tch Music,’ the 27-year-old continues to give reasons why the project is worth the wait.

Despite making headlines just a month ago for slamming her label for releasing her Doja Cat-duet, ‘Best Friend,’ prematurely (click here to read), the ‘Tap In’ performer is moving forward with its promotion by tapping legendary music video director Dave Meyers to direct its official accompanying clip.

“That’s my best friend she a real bad b*tch, drive her own car she don’t need no Lyft,” Saweetie spits. “In the strip club know my girl gone tip, now she twerking throw it out and come back in.”
