And having brought the First Lady, Mrs Obama, to her feet at the 2012 BET Honors, the powerhouse served up another emotionally-charged performance of current single ‘I Want You’ on VH1’s Morning Buzz recently.

Congratulations are certainly in order for Rihanna.

Yes, while her talent may still be missing in action and a #1 US album still dodging her like the plague, the star has scored quite the feat today.

For today, the UK’s Official Charts Company released the Top 150 Biggest Selling Singles Of The 21st Century.

A list, which sees Rihanna named 9 times- beating the likes of Beyonce, Adele and Lady GaGa.

Who is Cleo Sol?

 It’s a question no doubt on the minds of many reading this. Yet, it’s a question the Londoner provides an emphatic answer to with debut single ‘Never The Right Time’.

British bred, the 22 year old has been a fixture on the London live circuit, drumming up a buzz which carried her into Island Records late last year. There she would ink her first major label deal.

Yes, while you may know they both attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, many are unaware they shared a drama teacher in a Mr. Harry Shifman.

A Mr.Shifman, who claims to have mentored both ladies during their time at the school.

While Rihanna looked just like she sounds at last night’s 2012 MET Gala, ROC rival Rita Ora readied the launch of her new single ‘RIP‘, looking better than ever.

Joined by ‘Pass Out’ maestro Tinie Tempah and a select group of fans and press, Ora’s event comes before the cut is set to hit the UK #1, after reaching that very spot on iTunes.

This, set to land her a second #1 following the dubstep hit ‘Hot Right Now‘.

For all the parallells to The Surpremes, the story of Destiny’s Child seems to boast a “happy ending”.

Case, point, these snaps of former members LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Michelle Williams from last night.

As many will remember, Luckett and Roberson served as original members of the iconic group until a management spat saw them forcibly removed in 2000. Williams and short-term member Farrah Franklin would go on to become their replacements – controversially making their debut in the ‘Say My Name’ video.

However, accompanied by Cosby Show actress Keisha Knight-Pullium, the trio were all smiles as they caught up – and in LaTavia and Michelle’s case, met for the first time.

Taking to Twitter, LaTavia wrote:

Renown for her fiery melisma, multi-octave range, and overall soaring vocals, Grammy winning singer Christina Aguilera took to her own platform to tackle a song made famous by another singer who shares those very same qualities – Celine Dion.  Joined by Chris Mann, the two powerhouse vocalists took center stage on ‘The Voice’ to sing Dion and Boccelli’s hit duet ‘The Prayer’.
