Tina Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson has joined the cast of ‘Black Love’.
Carved out to celebrate real African-American love stories, the show sees famous couples detail their romantic journeys with hopes of inspiring their fans to find the same thing.
As viewers of the ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ know, Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore have often been at odds.
So deep rooted are their differences that, at one time, their drama took a violent turn.
However, they now share a unique reality – in that they are both pregnant with their first child.
For Williams, her journey will be chronicled on the upcoming season of RHOA. Moore’s, however, will not after she was booted from the show – reportedly as a result of marrying in secret and refusing to share much of her life with hubby Marc Daly.
Still, despite the divide, the pair were all smiles while photo’d together last night at the Growing Up Hip-Hop ATL premiere.
Glowing with their beautiful, the ladies were joined by fellow Housewives Cynthia Bailey and Eva Marcille.
Michael B. Jordan gets wet in the latest issue of Vanity Fair. Classily, of course.
The Hollywood force has been unstoppable of late, wracking up major roles in the likes of ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Just Mercy.’
Next month though, he steps back into the ring as the lead in ‘Creed II.’
Due in theaters on November 21st, the flick is tipped for major success following the knockout run of its 2015 predecessor.
Beyond the personal perks of his ascent, Jordan tells VF that he wants his wins to open up the doors for black talent – by reaching a level where his race doesn’t even matter.
Azealia Banks took time from ripping roosters to ripping songstress Lana Del Rey for the ‘High By the Beach’ beauty’s headline grabbing remarks on Kanye West.
West incited fury over the weekend after a lengthy pro-Trump rant saw him later call for the repeal of the 13th amendment (which abolished slavery in the United States). The announcement caught the eye of Del Rey who, via open letter, scolded the rapper and called his controversial stance in need of “intervention ” (click here to read more on that).
Once Banks caught wind of the statement, she went in on the ‘Ultraviolet’ star:
“I’m tried of white women in Hollywood and their fake ass innocent agendas. These bitches will take any opportunity to make themselves seem more righteous in regards to black men who don’t bow down to their vapid ‘social power’ or more civilized and respectable than the black women that have a REAL reason to be angry.”
‘Let It Burn‘ beauty Jazmine Sullivan set the net ablaze recently when she unveiled a stunning new look courtesy of her official social media handles.
Taking to Facebook to thank Texas fans for her recent showing at Dallas Gay Pride, the Grammy-nominated songstress dropped jaws with a slamming new platinum blonde ‘do to compliment her ongoing weight loss.
New figure and new ‘do lead to new album? We can only hope so. See more pics inside:
From The Vault is back this week with a smash hit from an unstoppable diva.
Today’s pick is ‘I’m Gonna Be Alright’ by Jennifer Lopez.
Originally featured on Jennifer’s sophomore effort, ‘Alright’ was remixed by Track Masters and issued as the second single from her remix album ‘J to tha L-O.’ The single featured fellow New Yorker Nas and was built on a sample of ‘I Got 5 On It’ by Luniz.
It was the Puerto Rican artist’s sixth Top 10 single in the US – peaking at #10. Elsewhere it placed #3 in the UK, #6 in Germany and was a Top 20 hit in France too.

The legendary Dave Meyers directed the track’s accompanying video which was set in the Bronx – where Jenny From The Block grew up.
Depicting a day in the life of a “real girl,” the beauty can be seen sunbathing in the street, hitting the laundromat, jamming at a music store and walking out on a relationship. All in a day, naturally.
Ex-husband Cris Judd is also featured in the video – a testament to La Lopez’s uninhibited approach to her romances.

Ain’t it funny how 20 years in, Ms. Lopez’ career seems to go from strength to strength? Though not the surefire chart darling she was during the early 00’s, rest assured she’s riding high in a major way somewhere, somehow. Whether with her music, movies, TV shows, or cosmetics….she’s unstoppable.
With the entertainer ending her Vegas run yesterday evening, we’re already excited about what’s next for Jenny and how she’ll choose to push her next musical journey to the masses.
We get the feeling that, any which way, she’s… gonna be alright. Don’t you?
