The Sugababes are back and blazing.

Easily one of the most successful Pop acts in British history, the group has been thriving anew after reuniting its original lineup of Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Siobhan Donaghy.

Having rocked Glastonury, sold-out a UK tour, and thrilled fans with the surprise release of ‘The Lost Tapes’ project (which was a decade in the making), the trio are now strutting towards one of their biggest shows to date – a headlining extravaganza at the O2 Arena.

Giving a taste of what to expect, the ladies stoped by BBC Radio 2‘s Piano Room to perform ‘Too Lost In You,’ ‘No Regrets,’ and a soaring cover of Miley Cyrus’ latest smash ‘Flowers.’

Readers of That Grape Juice know how passionate we are about music – whether that be past or present.

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Shania Twain, Ellie Goulding, Inhaler, and Caroline Polachek.

After soaring to the top of Pop charts together with 2001’s ‘Lady Marmalade’ remake, powerhouse Pop divas Christina Aguilera and P!nk soared to the top of each other’s sh*tlists – stoking a feud that lasted nearly 16 years before calling a truce in 2017.

A year after reaching its Hot 100 top 20 peak, ‘Hrs & Hrs’ – the breakthrough single of Muni Long – continues to clock major streams on digital music platforms like Spotify.

To capitalize off its enduring impact, the obstinate ballad recently got a facelift in the form of a Spanish edition as part of the GRAMMY nominee’s ‘Spotify Singles’ spotlight.

Titled ‘Horas Y Horas,’ the repackaged cut comes courtesy of production from GRAMMY-winning duo The Avila Brothers.

“Lo tuyo, es mío, ahora/ Puedo hacer esto por horas/ Sentar y hablarte aquí por horas/ Regalarte unas rosas/ Nos bañamos en las olas/ De champaña y una cena/ Pero eres tu que me devoras,” she croons on the loose translation of her R&B chart-topping hit.

‘Hrs’ wasn’t the only song getting the remake treatment from Muni, however.  She also reimagined The Carpenters’ (and later Luther Vandross) classic ‘Superstar.’
