R&B veteran Monica, who celebrates her 31st birthday today, has gifted fans and followers with the visual for ‘Until It’s Gone’ – the lead single lifted from her new LP ‘New Life’ (due December 13).

The long-awaited visual premiered today on 106 & Park and comes shortly after the moderate success of the Rick Ross-assisted buzz single ‘Anything (To Find You)’.  Has Monica found a hit?  You tell us after the jump:

Whitney Houston and crew (Jordin Sparks, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick) took a break from the set of their reboot of the 1976 musical ‘Sparkle’ to enjoy a Detroit Lions game.  The movie, also set in Detroit, began production this month with Sparks assuming the lead role and famed actor Mike Epps filling out the cast.

As reported here, while Cee Lo Green and R. Kelly are both signed on to join Houston and Sparks’ contributions to the film’s soundtrack, the ‘Crazy’ crooner will also be lending his acting chops to the movie.

Last week, the surfacing of a new Lil Kim assisted track named ‘OD‘ undoubtedly served as good news for many of her Pay Pals.

With her new album due out in a matter of weeks, there are some who feel the promotional campaign for Mary J Blige‘s  new LP hasn’t received the push it needs to ensure it sells more copies than Rihanna‘s ‘Talk That Talk‘, which is released on the same day.

Few siblings can rival the combined star power of Michael and Janet Jackson. However, for the the latter, that connection goes deeper than sharing the same last name. In life, Janet always had her brother’s back, and in death it’s no different.

After mounting a wildly successful ‘Number Ones’ tour, the 45 year old today announced a brief hiatus from the Australian leg of the trek. For, she says, it’s imperative that she joins her family back home in the US as the trial of the Dr accusused of causing the singer’s untimely death draws nearer its end.

Switch that messy Kardashian nonsense off! The Braxton sisters are back and in a big way.

After warming our hearts with their debut season, Toni, Trina, Towanda, Traci, and, of course, Tamar, are set to return to the small screen with season 2 of their hit WeTV reality series ‘Braxton Family Values’.

Premiering on November 10th, the show looks to be even more unmissable than before if this meatier taste of it is anything to go by.

Since announcing her pregnancy at August’s VMA’s, Beyonce‘s paparazzi stock has shot sky-high. That or the singer has been out and about much more the usual. Whatever the case, everyday seems to usher in new candids of the mother-to-be (not that we’re complaining).

The latest set of snaps see the superstar enroute to a brunch meeting with sister Solange over the weekend.

Say what you will about, but it’s hard to deny she wears pregnancy well.
