She’s back!

Indeed, Tiffany Pollard – better known as New York for fans of VH1 reality television shows ‘Flavor of Love’ and its spin-off ‘I Love New York’ – is making her way back to a screen near you with the recently unveiled ‘Ratchet Queens’.

Blasting news of the new show to Instagram earlier this week, the announcement comes just months after Pollard’s scripted return to television aboard the cast of LOGO’s ‘DTLA’.

While no updates accompanied the announcement on its premiere date or network, we can say with all guilt and shame that we look forward to the antics of the self-proclaimed ‘ratchet queen’ and can only hope her mother Sister Patterson will make frequent guest appearances.

The Lifetime network is heating up this Summer…thanks to ‘Devious Maids’.

Created Marc Cherry (the brain behind Desperate Housewives), and executive produced by Eva Longoria, the show follows five Latina maids who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Each lady has ambitions and dreams of her own, while one of them has a much darker reason for working the circuit.

Having debuted in June, the show’s first season boasts 13 episodes. Check out a preview for episode 10 of the first series below…

…and they used to be such good friends.

Well, that was then.  For, just days after Lady Gaga sent her Little Monsters into a rage when she recounted a horrific “texting incident” with famed blogger/media personality Perez Hilton, the ‘Bad Romance’ beauty informed followers of more bad blood between the divas over the weekend.

Indeed, just this morning Gaga shared news that Hilton was moving into her apartment building just to stalk her.

And it doesn’t end there folks…

Looks like that Katy Perry reign is the one that just won’t let up.

Indeed, after etching her name in history books for clocking 5 #1 hits from her 2010 release ‘Teenage Dream’, the Grammy nominated songstress looks well on her way to a repeat if the strong sales of her latest single ‘Roar’ are anything to go by.

In just a matter of days, the tune is already on track to top digital charts with insiders projecting over 450k units moved by the week’s end – over twice that of her nearest competitor Lady Gaga (who, despite earlier reports, is now projected to move 200-250k in the first week of her tune ‘Applause’s release).

But, while fans wait with bated breath to learn which of the pop princesses will reign atop digital charts next week, Perry is undoubtedly hoping her new fragrance ‘Killer Queen’ will be met with an equivalent royal fanfare.  Teasing her faithful Katycats with glimpses at its visual and accompanying photoshoot, now a behind-the-scenes look at its creation has surfaced.

This may just be too much cool for one issue.

Two of modern R&B’s most prized acts, Janelle Monae and Robin Thicke, get the party started in the 20th anniversary issue of VIBE magazine.

Doubling as the mag’s ‘summer’ issue, the dynamic duo serve as the cover stars for one of the three covers commemorating the occasion (one has Nas with J.Cole and the other Daft Punk with Pharrell Williams).

And, while we are tickled with excitement for Monae’s ‘The Electric Lady’ (set to charge to stores in less than a month), we’re still getting down to Thicke’s latest ‘Blurred Lines’ (which rocked both Hot 100 and Billboard 200’s top spot last week).  Until we see its performance on the tally this week, see below for Thicke & co. showing off for Vibe:

‘Dirty Laundry’ diva Kelly Rowland cleaned up quite nicely for the September 2013 issue of Essence magazine, of which she graces the cover (as seen above).

As previously reported, the mag – set to hit stands August 9th – is accented by a feature story that sees Rowland reflect on the incidents that make-up her tell-all, Dream-penned hit ‘Dirty Laundry’ as well as dish on her relationship with her estranged father and much more.

But, before you can read that story in its entirety, get into the fierce photos that will accompany it in this behind the scenes showing:
