As has been swarming the net since earlier today, ‘Va Va Voom’ vixen Nicki Minaj is reportedly the next judge aboard ‘American Idol’s judging panel to bid the show adieu – following the lead of veteran judge Randy Jackson.

What started off as a testament to the diva’s growing star power quickly turned sour as she fended herself from blame by a number of the show’s devoted fans for its decline in viewership since news of her inclusion.

Indeed, from the very start her tenure on the reality singing competition has been rocked with criticisms, beginning with that epic diva showdown with fellow judge/pop icon Mariah Carey

Musically cinematic, the track sees the 32-year-old wax honest about an abusive relationship, Beyonce, and much more.

Hear Kelly air that ‘Dirty Laundry’ after the jump…

Much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.  So in a quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday we introduced a new retrospective segment – ‘TGJ Replay’.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase albums (and eras) from a library of pop music hits.  Today, we holla back at  Gwen Stefani’s 2004 debut album ‘Love. Angel. Music. Baby’(more…)

After the wake of Destiny’s Child disbandment, “Making the Band” winners Danity Kane seemed poised to quickly fill the trio’s “girl group” void.  Armed with all the makings of a diva syndicate (i.e. – actual talent), the fivesome – comprised of Aubrey O’Day, D. Woods, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres – flew to the top of charts on the wings of songs like ‘Show Stoppers’ and ‘Damaged’.

Despite their successes, the group barely made it out of album #2 before announcement their disbandment.  And, while the likes of O’Day, Richard, and Woods all went on to varying levels of success, fans still longed for the full effect of the quintet.

Well, fans should long no more if reports that surfaced today are to be believed.  Find out what we mean below:
