If it’s anything Miley Cyrus’ current era, ‘Endless Summer Vacation,’ is proving it’s that she’s not letting off the gas.

The same week the project’s lead single, ‘Flowers,‘ was uprooted from the #1 spot on the Hot 100, the Pop diva began flooding her social media accounts with news of its successor: ‘River.’

Produced by Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon, the tune boasts lyrics of a woman who just can’t get enough of her lover.

“You go on forever / You’re just like a river,” Miley wails on the song’s chorus before the second verse. Blowing bubbles in the bath, I can’t stop from thinking lately / You could be the one, have the honor of my babies…”

After ample teasing, watch the ‘River’ video in full inside.

Miley Cyrus’ last studio effort, 2020’s ‘Plastic Hearts,’ was a major victor on the critical front but failed to see that win mirrored commercially.

Returning with a vengeance at the top of 2023, the Pop diva’s succeeding era – ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ – was kicked off by the gargantuan hit ‘Flowers’ which planted itself atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a whopping six weeks (her personal best).

Breaking global streaming records along the way, Cyrus is undoubtedly hoping ‘Vacation’ follows its lead single’s trajectory.

Unveiled Friday (March 10), the 12-song set features guest appearances from superstar singer-songwriters Brandi Carlile and Sia as well as production contributions from major names like Kid Harpoon, Tyler Johnson, Mike WiLL Made It, and more.

The effort is uniquely divided into two parts: an AM side that represents “buzz, energy, and the potential of new possibilities” and a PM side that represents “slinky, seediness, and kind of a grimy glamour.

It’s been nearly three years since August Alsina rocked headlines for admitting he had an affair with Jada Pinkett-Smith, but the award-winning R&B singer continues to be haunted by the aftermath of the shocking event.

Despite taking to press in late 2022 to reveal he’s “moving past the entanglement” and does not keep in touch with Jada or her Academy Award-winning husband Will Smith, Alsina still finds himself tied to the two – a position highlighted by Chris Rock‘s recently unveiled Netflix comedy special, ‘Selective Outrage.’
