In what has to be one of the most random musical pairing in some time, Katy Perry has teamed up with Snoop Dogg for new single ‘California Gurls’. Produced by hitmaker Dr Luke, the song works surprisingly well – rolling into one simplistically stellar production (which gives a nod to early Madonna), an infectious sing-along-song chorus, and a killer verse from Snoop. Undoubtedly, a summer smash.

Kelly Rowland‘s new single ‘Commander’ has received an almost unanimously positive reception since debuting two weeks ago; with only a select few lamenting over its ‘dance’ sound. It now appears Rowland and her team are set to cover all ground, in the form of an ‘Urban Mix’ of the song. Hitmaker Rico Love (who penned the song), played the slowed down, R&B incarnation of ‘Commander’ on Twitter moments ago. Check it out below…

A new song from Christina Aguilera has surfaced today. The track, entitled ‘Woo Hoo’, features the pervasive Nicki Minaj and was recorded for Aguilera’s upcoming ‘Bionic’ album which hits stores on June 8th. ‘Woo Hoo’ did not make the supposed final tracklisting for the LP. Give it a listen below:
