The wait is over! For, the first look at DC Studios‘ newSuperman’ movie has landed.

Directed by the visionary James Gunn and led by David Corenswet, the film serves as the first solo outing for Clark Kent since 2013’s ‘Man of Steel.’

Set to arrive in theaters on July 11, the first glimpse of the blockbuster flick suggests it’s taking on a darker tone as it reboots the beloved story.

Corenswet stars alongside the likes of Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced.

Titled ‘A Jaguar II Christmas: The Orchestral Arrangements,’ the 8-song set – delivered December 11 – is a fully instrumental collection helmed by producer extraordinaire D’Mile and conductor Maurice “Pirahnahead” Herd alongside his Soulchestra string orchestra.

Beyond reimagining fan favorites from ‘Jaguar II: Deluxe‘ like ‘On My Mama’ and ‘D*ckAtNight,’ ‘Jaguar Christmas’ boasts original cuts as well.

The Weeknd kicked off 2024 making streaming history and is ending it doing the same.

Taking to Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar on Tuesday evening (December 17), the Canadian hitmaker (born Abel Tesfaye) celebrated being the artist with the most songs to pass 1 billion spins on Spotify by teaming with the streamer for the first-ever ‘Billions Club Live’ concert.

Over a 70-minute set Tesfaye cranked out live renditions of his biggest hits including ‘Starboy,’ ‘Call Out My Name,’ ‘Die for You,’ ‘Blinding Lights,’ ‘Save Your Tears,’ and many more.

As if that wasn’t enough to send his dedicated fans into a frenzy, he also confirmed he has a slew of new projects loading for next year.

“2024 is almost done. But 2025, we got some new s–t coming out. New album, new tour, new movie. New everything,” he said in reference to his upcoming LP ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow‘ and movie of the same name.

Beyonce may be dominating headlines for the jaw-dropping sales updates made to her catalog at the Recording Industry Association of America overall, but the commercial victory is loaded with smaller yet noteworthy wins.

Beyond becoming the female act with the most Gold and Platinum hits, the news also crowned her the first American singer to sell over 150 million singles.

One of the biggest callouts from the update is Bey capturing her first two Diamond certifications – a feat that was historic by itself.

‘Masked Singer’ fans may be buzzing at news Mario was unmasked as this season’s runner-up, The Wasp.

Rightfully so, as he cranked out some stunning performances over his tenure on the show including rocking renditions of ‘Rock Your Body’ by Justin Timberlake, ‘When I Was Your Man’ by Bruno Mars, and more.

He may have given his best yet, however, on Wednesday night’s showing (December 18) when he delivered a reimagined version of Whitney Houston‘s chart-topping classic ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight.’

2024 marked the sixth anniversary of the Oprah Winfrey Network’s highly anticipated slate of Christmas films ‘OWN for the Holidays’ – a success they toasted by unveiling three new movies: ‘A Season to Remember,’ ‘Mistletoe & Matrimony,’ and ‘24-Karat Christmas.

The latter, which stars Samantha Marie Ware and Curtis Hamilton, is set to shine on screens December 21.

Telling the story of an unlucky jewelry designer (Ware) who’s forced to team with a groomsman (Hamilton) to track down some custom wedding rings she accidentally sent to the wrong person, their unexpected joint project turns romantic as the clock races down for the Christmas Eve marital ceremony.

2024 was a damn good year for Dua Lipa!

Beyond topping charts around the globe with her highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Radical Optimism,’ the Pop diva kicked off the LP’s supportive international tour, stormed box offices with her first film ‘Argylle,’ headlined Glastonbury and ACL Fest, unveiled her first primetime TV special, and so much more.

All those moments helped make 2024 the “best year of my life,” she recently revealed to Billboard UK while acting as the cover girl of the mag’s latest edition.
