The Sugababes aren’t done with the surprises.
For, just days after unwrapping their critically-acclaimed project ‘The Lost Tapes,’ the original line-up of the Brit-Pop trio has released a deluxe edition of the LP.
Having first reformed in 2012, the founding members of the ensemble released the revered single ‘Flatline’ – under the alias MKS (an abbreviation of their names) due to legalities around the group name. And while supporters were excited to see Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghy reunited (following many well-documented line-up changes), further legal and label complexities saw their planned album benched…until now.
Trumpeting the news of the expanded iteration of the ‘The Lost Tapes.’ the ‘Babes said::
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the reaction to ’The Lost Tapes’, so felt we couldn’t just leave it there… please enjoy the Deluxe Edition OUT NOW, featuring three bonus tracks! Thank you all for making 2022 such a memorable year for us. Happy New Year and here’s to an amazing 2023! x”
