T.J. Holmes has called time on his 13-year marriage to wife Marilee Fiebig after being engulfed in an affair scandal with Good Morning America 3 co-anchor Amy Robach.

As reported, Holmes and Robach were thrust into the headlines after news broke that the pair – who both had partners – have allegedly been engaged in an extramarital affair.
After conflicting reports about the status of Robach’s marriage and initial defiance from the duo on-screen and off, they were benched and an investigation by the show was launched to ascertain if workplace rules were breached. Further probes are said to be taking place after alleged affairs with two other staffers emerged.
Now, PageSix has confirmed that 45-year-old Holmes has filed for divorce from his wife (who is also 45). Per the same source, the paperwork was formally submitted on December 28.
Holmes and Fiebig married in March 2010 and welcomed daughter Sabine in January 2013.
The pair are said to have been separated, but PageSix – citing a source allegedly close to the situation – stresses that Fiebig was blindsided by the drama as the soon-to-be-exes spent Holmes’ birthday together.
