We’re sure ‘Smile‘ singer Katy Perry was doing the exact opposite of that once she got a load of the comments that flooded her Instagram Monday night (November 7).

Although gearing up for the next leg of her critically acclaimed ‘Play‘ concert residency in Las Vegas, the GRAMMY nominee took time to hop to Los Angeles to perform her civic duty and vote.

And while some praised the Pop diva for taking to Instagram to encourage her dedicated fans, affectionately called #KatyCats, to do the same, others scoffed at the nominee she endorsed in the process.

The joint project has been drumming up buzz aplenty by way of its polarizing lyrics and unique approach to promotion.

Afrobeats stars Tiwa Savage and Asake have linked up for a titan-sized collaboration.

Christened ‘Loaded,’ the track sees the stars trade verses over a pulsating beat – courtesy of Magicsticks. 

The song arrives amidst a breakout year for Asake, who has galvanized the globe with hits such as ‘Terminator,’ ‘Joha,’ and ‘Organise.’

Charles Dickens’ 19th century classic novella ‘A Christmas Carol’ gets its latest reimaging courtesy of the Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds-led movie adaptation, ‘Spirited.’

Uniquely telling the story from the perspective of the ghosts of Christmas past and present, Reynolds plays Clint Briggs, a younger version of the “Ebenezer Scrooge” archetype, while Ferrell will be bringing the “Ghost of Christmas Present” to life.

Directed by Sean Anders, the musical comedy boasts a star-studded cast including the likes of Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer as well as Loren Woods, Joe Tippett, Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Marlow Barkley, Jen Tullock, and more.
