Mary J. Blige Announces ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ Tour with Special Guests Ella Mai & Queen Naija

After watching her 14th studio album ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ reign in the top 10 of Billboard R&B charts upon its February release, Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige is looking to give her fans a royal treat by bringing gems from the set (alongside her trove of classics) to a stage near them.

Presented by Hologic, the ‘Good Morning Gorgeous Tour’ – Blige’s first official tour in five years – is set to kick off on September 17 in Greensboro, North Carolina and touch a number of major North American markets like Las Vegas, Nashville, Chicago, New Orleans, Washington D.C., and more before wrapping up in Atlantic City in October.

Tapping R&B princesses Ella Mai and Queen Naija to assist, look inside to see if the trio of prized songstresses will be crooning their hits in your town.

New Video: Pharrell, 21 Savage, & Tyler, The Creator – ‘Cash In Cash Out’

Check out ‘Cash In Cash Out,’ the latest from producer extraordinaire Pharrell Williams.

Teaming with Tyler, The Creator and 21 Savage to bring the new single to life, the braggadocious track booms over boisterous production provided by Pharrell himself and sees the trio of hitmakers toast to lavish lifestyles.

“Put my sidepiece inside a Porsche (A Porschе) / Money turned me to an a**holе / I ain’t gon’ lie, I was used to being poor (21) / I put Chanel on my feet / European model got Chanel on my seats,” Savage spits on the catchy track.

To accompany the tune’s arrival, Skateboard P called on director François Rousselet to help deliver a state-of-the-art clay animation visual.

Backlash! Lizzo Changes Lyrics to New Song ‘Grrrls’ After Accusations of Ableism

‘Good as Hell’ hitmaker Lizzo found herself catching hell after music lovers got a whiff of her new song ‘Grrrls’ released last Friday (June 10).

The tune, which serves as the follow-up to her current Hot 100 top 5 hit ‘About Damn Time,’ has been the center of controversy for many people with disabilities (and their supporters) for containing the word ‘spaz’ – a phrase considered to be an ‘ableist slur’ that derives from the word ‘spastic’ and describes someone who has difficulty controlling their muscles (a la like those coping with the effects of cerebral palsy).

When Liz (born Melissa Jefferson) got wind of the commentary, she took to Instagram Monday (June 13) to weigh in.

Issa Rae is set to heat up screens this summer with her brand new show, ‘Rap Sh!t.’

Serving as the ‘Insecure’ maestra’s newest creation, this series chronicles the story of two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna (Aida Osman) and Mia (KaMillion).

Reuniting to form a Rap group, they’re tasked with navigating layered lives, complex dynamics, Black womanhood, and a music world that is both alluring and ruthless.

As reported, Hip-Hop duo the City Girls are on-board as co-executive producers.
