Katy Perry kept it interesting on last night’s episode of ‘American Idol.’

Dressed as Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’ for Disney night, the ‘Teenage Dream’ singer toppled out of her judge chair during the episode.

Host Ryan Seacrest was on stage introducing the episode when the event occurred. The audience was quick to react to the situation, as they collectively gasped at the situation.

Perry was hoisted up by fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. She laughed about the incident and responded to the incident in an Instagram post.
