Monica is ready for her time to shine in country music.

Case in point, the ‘So Gone’ songstress appeared at last night’s CMT Awards where she performed her collaboration with Jimmie Allen and Little Big Town called ‘Pray.’

The genre-crossing performance saw all of them dressed in white as the stage was filled with clouds and dreamy smoke. The performance included plenty of harmonies as well as scenes from all religions praying in the background.

Monica’s performance comes on the heels of her announcing her first-ever country album, ‘Open Roads.’ The record will be produced by country queen Brandi Carlile.

In a unique twist, he’ll serve as the opening act, while they headline.
